This fan heater is very compact, lightweight and heats a small area very well. The majority of the case is made up of the fan case / grille with the two rotary controls being below it facing forwards at the bottom. It does seem a little cheaply made (all plastic), but is quite reasonably priced for what it is and does.The controls are quite simple with a variable thermostat that cuts the heater out once it reaches the desired temperature which is a little trial and error to set to the preferred level. It also has two settings for 1kw or 2kw heat depending on requirements and has a safety pressure switch underneath, so that it cuts out if it falls or gets knocked over being an 'upright' style fan heater.Overall a very handy little fan heater to have around if you need to heat up a small area e.g. around a desk. It is extremely light and portable, so easy to move from place to place. Time will tell how long it lasts being made of plastic.

Good price for the heat it pumps out

I recently purchased the Straame fan heater with high hopes of staying warm during chilly evenings. However, my experience with this product has been quite disappointing, primarily due to its unreliable temperature control. Initially, the heater provides a burst of warm air, giving a sense of relief. Unfortunately, this is short-lived, as it soon transitions to blowing out cold air unexpectedly. It's frustrating to find yourself shivering after expecting a cozy environment. This back-and-forth pattern makes it difficult to enjoy a consistent and comfortable warmth.

Does the job very efficiently.

This is just the right size for heating a small room. It's easy to use and for the price I was very pleased with it.

Electric heaters are fundamentally all the same - there is no difference in efficiency between a £20 heater and a £300 one. As such, this is a brilliant buy. It's relatively quiet, heats a medium sized (16sqm) bedroom in about 10 minutes.Variable fan speeds are useful for nighttime running, to help minimise on noise, and having a sensor thing on the bottom to detect if it's fallen over is great piece of mind.Perfect for what it is - 10/10

This fan heater didn’t even last a month as it started blowing out cold air more than hot air. It blows hot air for approx. 10 seconds then changes to cold air. I wouldn’t recommend this brand as I previously purchased fan heater but different brand and it lasted 4/5 years!
