Mini Chip Bag Sealer, 2 in 1 with Cutter Handheld Plastic Heat Seal Vacuum Sealer Machine Kitchen Gadget for Mylar/Food Storage Bag

I was looking for a bag sealer after seeing one on a shopping channel. It was too expensive. Luckily, I found this one on Amazon for less than a quarter of the price of the other. It came with clear instructions and several little bags to practice on. After you turn it on, then you slide it over half of the bag to seal and then over the other half. It takes some practice to line up the seals. Other than that, it works great. It also comes with a bag cutter and magnet to stick it on the fridge if you so desire.

This bag sealer works great. . . but I never realized how many different types of materials that chip/snack bags are made of. There were four different "styles" of bags in the chip section of the pantry. Each one was slightly different, and they were all different than the sample bags that came with the sealer. Each one was a little different speed/pressure with the tool, so make note of which bag you're sealing.The sealer is made nicely. The materials feel nice, the spring action works well. The battery case snaps right into place. So it all feels solid.There is no indicator light. Just an on/off switch. So I assume that means its ready to go as soon as you turn the switch on (which appears to work ok). I also assume that when it stops sealing, then you change the batteries. . .First of all, use the sample bags to get the hang of it. Then use some of the bags that are headed towards the trash as testers too.I went through the pantry and sealed every bag that I could find. The only one that didn't work was a foil looking bag, but everything else is now nicely sealed. The cutting end seems like it works best in one direction, not both. But I've also noticed that the seal pulls apart nicely on most bags, so you don't need to cut every time.My chip clip bucket is SO FULL. It's never been this full before.I am happy with this mini bag sealer.

It is straightforward to use and works well. Till now it has resealed all the bags I have used it on.

I bought this bag sealer to have an extra to have around the house It is worth the money I have paid, so I can never find clips to go on my chip bags. This makes it easy just to seal them up and they stay fresher. I would recommend this to anybody that likes to keep things sealed up in fresh either for freshness, or to keep the pets sell, it works great and well worth the value of the

Save your clips for chip bags! This doesn't work well at all on chip bags. With several tries, with one stroke, some areas were seals, some areas were not sealed, some areas sliced the chip bag. I tried several times on several different chip bags, all the same result. Even the bags that looked like they were sealed, had small areas that were not actually sealed.

I wanted to love this item because I hate all my chip clips but it was just okay. It’s hard to cut with the razor side but the sealer worked well

The media could not be loaded.  I bought one of these sealers a couple years back and I was skeptical about getting another one but the opportunity came up so I decided to try it out and it did not disappoint! I had 2 bags of chips in my pantry that were open, one bag was thicker than the other. I folded the bag over and sealed it, skeptical that it wouldn't seal well, but it sealed very well! I also tried a sandwich bag. I sealed it straight down the middle and it didn't look like it seal well because the plastic wasn't straight. I put water in the bag, and it sealed fairly well with some leakage but if I had taken my time with the sealer on the plastic bag, it would have been better.Things I like about this product compared to the model a couple years ago is...-it has an on/off switch for more power to seal properly-there is a magnet to put it on the fridge instead of a hook (there is also a leather loop for hanging on a hook if you want to store this that way.)

Throw away those old clips and invest in this gadget. Easy resealable after each use and keeps everything fresh!
