It does have a slight Pink hue to it.
The cover feels like a perfect fit and snaps in fine. The filter is not as dense as my old one, so I am reusing the old one and keeping this as a spare. If you hold the covers up side by side there is a slight pink hue to the new cover. But it seems a little more flexible so maybe it won't break as easy as my original, and not that many people look up...lol
