They’re great and look nice but the rings don’t stay up.. I had to put silicone caulking around the part on the wall then used packing tape overnight to hold them in place.. the one mounted straight up and down is fine but we had to angle the other and that’s the one I had to caulk.. not a big deal.. just a bit of a nuisance

My spouse had multiple health issues. Grab bars are a necessity in bathroom areas. This unit was installed against a wooden cabinet. That is important to know if you intend to use a grab bar where there is sheetrock. Typically, wall studs are 18 inches apart. To hold a person's weight, you need to have screws that go into a stud behind the sheetrock. If you have wood or stone to drill into, a 12-inch grab bar works just fine. This is made of good materials. I think it will last a long time. It does not detract from the overall look of the bathroom.

The grip on the bar is nice because when your hand is wet it will not slip.
