Free of what? is it free of PTFE(teflon)? if so, why not include it in the description, box and manual?

You should call the manufacturer for information like this. All I know is that my family and I have been cooking in the Carote sauce pan for about a year or two, and I would never go back to the old black, non-stick type pans. It cooks perfectly every timer, cleans up beautifully, and the food from it tastes top-rate.

where is the saucepan made and is it in stock in warehouse?

Made in China, in very good quality!

Will this hold an entire can of soup?

We use 18oz cans of soup. It manages that just fine. We occasionally add ingredients to existing soup but have never overflowed the capacity. It pretty much can handle 48oz's. Very neat little sauce pan. We use it daily.
