Excellent
I live in an old 1800's house with singled glazed windows and secondary glazing installed, the condensation in the house is mega! A while ago I got a small dehumidifier and it didn't really pick much water up so I wasn't sure if a bigger version would be useful or not.I took the plunge and got this model which can connect to Tuya Smart (SmartLife) app. In the app you can control the dehumidifier's fan speed, High, Low and Sleep. Turn it on and off, set a child lock and also a timer for it too. The dehumidifier also works with Alexa once it's linked with the skill from Tuya.Compared to my old small dinky machine this works very VERY well, it takes about 2l of water out of the air everyday! This has solved my condensation problem by running it from 9am till 5pm everyday all set with Alexa. It's taken my room from 80%+ humidity down to an average of 55%, it's incredible, I no longer have condensation on my windows, the mold that was forming above the window as now stopped along with the mildew/mold that was forming on the wall. It's really made that much of a difference!Things to note is that this thing is pretty big, it's pretty loud even on sleep (why I only run in throughout the day as it would be too noisy at night in the same room). The beep it makes is exceptional loud when you change any setting, but oh well, you know it's doing something when you change a setting on the app.To add to this, you plumb it in if you want to keep it running and not have to empty the water tank, it comes with a good length of tube to do so.

Value and useful
Removes moisture from the environment surprisingly well. The phone app works fine.Quick and easy to remove water.Change filters quickly too.Sleep mode? I could probably live with it! But my other half can hear the electricity going through the wires. So the fan will sound like a hovercraft ;~)Yes, I would recommend.

Kinda smart (works with Alexa and Home Assistant via Tuya integration)
I only just got this delivered about a hour ago so I can't really comment on the dehumidification function yet.Packaging:- It came packaged in 3 (three!) boxes which is a little overkill.Setup:- Setting it up was rather straight forward. Get it out of the box(es), add the filter and plug it in.Smart setup:- Don't assume you know what you do - read the manual! To put the device into pairing mode you need to hold down the timer button! Not the power button as you might expect.- I use the Tuya app but I am sure the Smartlife app works the same. I connected my phone to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and pressed the 'add device' button in the app. The device was found, set up and then just worked.App:- The app allows to turn the device on / off, set the target humidity, the fan speed and toggle the child lock.Alexa:- Alexa straight away discovered and integrated the device. I can turn it on / off via voice.- In the Alexa app I can turn the device on / off and set the target humidity.- I didn't find an option to set the fan speed.Home Assistant:- I was able to integrate the dehumidifier into my home automation system (Home Assistant via the Tuya cloud integration).- I can turn the device on / off- The humidity sensor is exposed to home assistant and can be used for automations.- Setting the target humidity doesn't appear to work.- I was not able to control the fan speedFunction:- I obviously only had the dehumidifier running about an hour while messing around with it. When I checked it there was some water in the tank. Not a lot but it was only running for a short while and standing in the middle of a not very damp room.- There are 3 speed settings for the fan.Noise:- It's audible but not too loud or annoying. Not sure I could leave it on over night though.- What is loud and annoying is the beep it emits every time you press a button or change the settings in the app. There appears to be no way to turn it off apart from physically disconnecting itNegatives:- Considering it's meant to be smart, it lacks the ability to control the fan speed through Alexa etc.- That beep is rather unnecessary and annoying!- The cover for the filter is rather fiddly to open / close.- It's got no water level sensor so I can't get Alexa to announce the water tank needs emptying.Would I buy it again?- It works well enough but I would prefer something a little smarter

Doesn't collect water
Fan and indicators are working. No errors are shows on display. I was even able to connect it to the WiFi and to smartphone. After 48h use it collected 0 drops of water in the room with 80% humidity. Device was keep blowing cold air. I checked manual and all settings and room temperature was right. From my observation coils system and pump for creogenic gas don't work. I have to ship it back unfortunately.

Really removes water, Wi-Fi app is good… But what a racket!
This really removes water from an atmosphere, I have another dehumidifier which is rated much lower and it was okay, but this thing literally pulls the water out of the air… By the litre! The Wi-Fi app (smart life) is nice and easy to use and intuitive, you have to push and hold the timer button on the capacitive top of the dehumidifier until the timer symbol flashes and then just turn on the smart life app and it finds it for you.In app you can set timers, change modes and speeds as well as integrate it with other automations (if you have a Wi-Fi temperature sensor or a hygrometer for instance, you could set it to come on or go off at a certain level)… There's lots of options in this area and I really like how it works, it's also pretty simple to turn on and off with the app. However, and it's a really BIG however, this thing makes such a noise… And the worst thing is, whether I set it on high level or sleep mode, it makes no difference at all, it makes the same amount of noise… And when I say "same amount of noise" I mean it's ridiculously noisy for such a product.I couldn't be in the same room and watched the TV or anything else because it would just annoy the hell out of me, I certainly couldn't sleep.I love its function but for £160 nearly, I want something that doesn't sound like this. If anyone's got any recommendations for these kind of units that have reasonable sound levels and Wi-Fi connectivity please let me know.
