Off-Limits Protector: A Thrilling Suspense Romance (Agile Security & Rescue) Paperback – May 22, 2022

This book is a rollercoaster ride full of angst, anger, fear, kidnapping, suspense and off the charts chemistry between the main characters. The storyline is succinct and intense and the author does a great job of balancing the suspense with the romance. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat waiting to see who survives the battle. Willow is kick butt independent woman who has been on her own for most of her life. Andre is an ex-military sniper who doesn't think he is good enough for anyone with his past. The fireworks between these two are like the fourth of July while they navigate through finding who want willow dead. The secondary character really make this book more readable and concise. This author makes the reader fall into the story so they feel like they are in it. This is a very well done book and an excellent series.

This is book three of the Agile Security-Rescue Series. Andre is a former Sniper for the Marines and works for Agile. On his way to visit with his friend Nick, another former Marine, Andre is at a stop-light when and accident and "hit" occurs before him. He looks at the car next to him and sees a very well dressed woman and he drags her out of her car, into his truck floorboard. Andre recognizes the man responsible for the hit and the man sees him and Willow. Andre knows that they will be hunted down and must get to a secure location. When they get to Nicks location, they know they cannot stay there even though it is very secure. Andre calls his boss and is told a picture of the two of them is on the internet and there are people looking for them all over the United States. They spend the night together and then make plans to obtain a vehicle and escape with plenty of armor.Willow is a very famous doctor. Willow suggests they go to her fathers estate that is very secure. When they get to the estate, Andre realizes he knows her father, his commanding officer in the Marines. Willow and her father are not very close and she does not trust him, she gets upset when she finds that they are friends. Someone finds that they are there and poisons the guards and staff. A helicopter is brought in to take the ill to the hospital. Andre and Willow fake being ill and go with them. Willow's father and Andre's boss make arrangements for new ID, change of clothes and an escape to the airport where a jet is ready to take them out of the country. They will not be safe until the people from the "hit" are dead, and they are out of the country. So much more happens to them, but I do not want to ruin the story for you. The book is one I could not put down and I have read it twice to make sure I did not miss anything. I like the way Jenna Gunn writes her stories, this book is well written and plenty of mystery and romance. I hope you like the story as much as I did and I cannot wait for the next book in this series in out. I have read all of the Eden Mountain Firefighter's series, the series that started this series, as well as the first two books of this series. Andre and Willow meet when they witness a hit right in front of their cars. He gets her into his truck and out of there, but their pictures are already up on the web and everyone is looking for them. The mafia do not leave witnesses. The two even end up at her fathers, who turns out to be his commander from his military days. When things happen there, they vacate again. The characters are terrific, with great backstories and intense feelings of fear and determination. The storyline has drama, danger, secrets, surprises, steam, protectiveness, changes of outlook and much more. Loved the chemistry and action, locales and close friends they have. The ending was terrific and can not wait for the next book to answer some more questions. Well done.

This book is insta-romance & explosive from the first chapter! Andre & Willow have a chemistry that can't be tamed in this military medical romance. Saving her from a hit is a must, falling for her is not an option. Andre is damaged goods, he has seen & done things while a Marine sniper that can never be forgotten. Dr. Willow wants her life back, she has already lost the first one she had, she can't lose another, she has more to accomplish! Can the Alpha marine possibly help her get her life back and help her heal at the same time? This book was insta-love with two very strong characters, it angsty, suspenseful, dramatic, exciting & hot as hell. I can't wait to see where the series goes next! This book can easily be read as a standalone, but i definitely recommend you check out the entire series, you won't be disappointed. This is the third book in the Agile Security & Rescue series and can be read as a standalone but you will come across previous characters. You get a good introduction to Andre in book two but you don't need to read it to enjoy this one although I do recommend them, they were very good romantic suspense. Andre and Willow are incendiary together. Andre believes that there is no good woman for him, his hands are too dirty and his soul to stained for someone as good as Willow. Willow has a love/hate relationship with her father which has tainted the way she views men. Andre is too much like her father, she wants to hate him but is also drawn to him. Andre doesn't care if he dies and is willing to lay down his life to protect Willow. Is it possible that these two are exactly what they each need? Love this series. It keeps getting better, can't wait for the next book.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
