I have held off on writing this review in order for me to allow enough time to decide whether the camera works for me or not. First, I'll start with the cons. 1: Make sure you buy a GENUINE SD card for your camera as it'll save you a TON of hassle down the line. Spend a little more and buy the real deal from Amazon direct. 2: If like me, you live in a home with thick walls, you're going to need a heavy duty extra long drill bit. 3: The leads that go through the wall from the camera are short and rather thick, so instead of causing myself a load of extra stress (and expense) I opted to install a small outdoor electrical weather box which permits me to just run the power cable through the wall. It works perfectly in all weathers, is easily accessed and looks very tidy. Now for the pros. The camera was incredibly easy to set up on my LAN. I had purchased a different set from another brand the week before this one which I found impossible to use. To say that this one is a world away from the first one I purchased is the understatement of the year. It's very sturdy, neat and compact yet still picks up crystal clear images both during the day and night. You download an app for your phone, and one for your computer and can control everything from there. I have found that the images and connection are not affected by strong sunlight or heavy rain. You can set the app to alert you every time there's movement on your property or just review as and when you need to (which is my preferred method). I purchased the biggest memory card and have been recording for over 2 weeks without erasing any data, which is pretty impressive. The company offers technical support, should you need it, but I have found the setup and running of the camera to be pretty straightforward. All in all, I would rate this camera with the full 5 stars as it arrived promptly, does exactly what it claims to do and was simple to set up, regardless of my knowing nothing about the process. I have included images from the camera taken during the night and day and also during heavy rain so that you can see the quality. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this security system to anyone who's looking to safeguard their home.

Great 1080p live stream and recorded videos. Haven't tried the pictures yet as personally don't really need to set it up. Easy to (connect with lead provided) to router for initial setup to camera. Simply download CamHi phone app from Play Store then find the camera. Password to camera can be changed after setup via the phone app. Great for checking the property when away on holiday using Wi-Fi or data from phone. Only negative is that sometimes is may not pic up 1 or 2 recordings (I e when we leave/return to the house) but thus can be due to the sensitivity I selected and reduced on so that it doesn't pick up my shrubs when they sway in the gale winds where I live. Overall great value for what you get and easily fitted. We didn't drill any holes through the walls for the power lead, instead the leads were thin enough to be put through a window and closed tight and just screwed into recess of the window. I bought a 720p and 1080p. Only slight difference in quality but very miniscule. Still great quality.

Over 1 month since installation and I am very pleased so far with the camera set-up experience, impressive quality of these 1080P cameras (purchased 3 from Amazon) including the high quality images/ videos they produce - see pics). The main aspects of my experience are as follows: 1. 128GB microSDXC Memory Card purchased from Amazon & installed & initialized sucessfully as per online video instructions, just need a small Phillips screwdriver 2. The cameras are super easy to set-up as long as you follow the detailed (step-by-step) instructions in the online manuals. 3. Alerts and schedules work well and can be diffrent for different cameras - most useful when you don't want alarm activations for high traffic areas. Alerts to Apple devices also work. 4. There are multiple ways to access the content via Apple devices and PC, all over local LAN/ WiFi and remote access (4G connection based) - all work most excellently. 5. The cameras are physically easy to install with all bits and pieces provided for mounting them on an outside wall, obviously a drill/ drill-bit is required for the mounting screws. 6. Hopefully the cameras are waterproof, lack of rain means that aspect has not been tested and I did not want to hose them down. 7. The support from SV3C is exemplary; my emails were responded to within 15 minutes, pretty much any time of day - you just do not get that level of support services often. Although I did not need/ call their tech. support line, one is available. Areas for improvement: 1. The cameras could do with some sort of optional alert mechanism for when there is a) an IP address conflict or b) if the WiFi signal is not within a specific threshold (i.e. poor signal). This results in a lost connection to a camera and this occurs occasionally due to atmospheric conditions but recovers automatically. 2. The website could be easier to navigate and be camera device specific 3. The videos need to be even more device specific as, for example, the microSDXC Memory Card installation is for a slightly different camera system on the website.
