Must purchase your own faceplates now if not happy with the standard silver
A bit pricey for a faceplate considering that early model ring pro doorbells used to come with multiple faceplates in the package to choose from, now they come with one color faceplate and you want any other color than the silver you have to purchase it separately.

Make sure to remove the original faceplate first
I purchased the galaxy black faceplate for my Ring Pro 2 doorbell. You need to remove the original faceplate first before putting the new faceplate on. Once you are finished installing your Ring Pro 2 doorbell, you will be sent an email for a free faceplate. You just click the link and select one from 14 different colors. It is completely free, including shipping. Had I known that, I would not have bought this but I did not want to wait.

Galaxy black is more oil rubbed bronze.
This is exactly what I wanted. It is more oil rubbed bronze than black. Which is perfect for me since this does match my door hardware. When I saw the ridiculous colors they were offering the faceplate in for the 2021 version of the Ring Pro2 doorbell I was not happy. My last Ring Pro came with normal color faceplates in the box. I understand it is more efficient to not send a bunch of faceplates, but no one has lilac door hardware. Well maybe Gilderoy Lockhart but it is his favorite color.This will not fit the Ring Pro doorbell from earlier years. This is for the Pro 2 that was released in 2021.

Cheap plastic. Should get 15 different colours for the price
Firstly, this fits the doorbell fine and the product is not defective, however, this is just a cheap piece of plastic that is horribly overpriced. For the price, I would expect something solid and metal.
