Little trick to install.
I break down my Harman Advance pellet stove each year for a thorough cleaning. The existing igniter seemed to be taking longer to fire up the stove towards the end of last season so I purchased this igniter to replace it during my annual cleaning. Seemed simple enough to replace, but I had to go to utube to figure out how to access the wires. The trick was simple, blue and yellow wires pushed forward from the backside. Replaced, all parts reinstalled, fired up like normal. 👍

Lasted 4 weeks..
Product fits well and works great at first.. now, 4 weeks later, it no longer lights my stove. It gets warm, but not hot enough to make a fire. It is a 2 pack so I am installing the 2nd one.. let's see how long that lasts. I guess there is some truth to the "you get what you pay for" adage. If the 2nd one fails, I'll be spending the money for a Harman.

Will not fit P61A carrier
Product did not fit My P61A . Igniter is longer than . I had to use a Dremal with cut off wheel. Cutting between the last two fins of the igniter. The fin appear to be welded to a sleeve and then tacked to the main shaft of the.igniter which increases the diameter.

Tough to get the new igniter into the new cradle.
So far it's working. The igniter was really hard to get to fit into the supplied cradle. Took some work with pliers to get it down and seated. My original cradle the igniter just sat right into. Should have stayed with that. The cradle itself seemed to have an extra bit of mounting that might be for a different stove than mine. Had to remove that piece before the cradle would fit inside my stove. The mounting holes for the cradle to stove did line right up. Thought a new cradle might be a later better design. Would have been happier with just a new igniter and my original cradle.

Fitted this ignitor and cradle to a Harman p43 so far it ignites much quicker than the old ignitor and cradle is much better than the old design …fast delivery..good product..so far so good will see how it last now
