Living in the country, it’s inevitable that you will get a fly or two in the house with the doors opening and closing all of the time. I leave both my back and front porch lights on, so it makes it even worse when those little flying gnats and moths that are hanging out by the light feel they can come inside with you. I have bought fruit fly traps for the little flies that come in with fresh produce, but that didn’t stop the occasional house fly from dive bombing me when trying to watch tv. (They are attracted to light) so of course I had my doubts about the fly-trapping ability of this product, as well, but got it on sale and it came with refills so I thought I’d give it a whirl. Boy am I glad I did! I simply put the sticky pad in the quality built plug in, really easy to do, and the picture I posted was just from plugging it in last night! As you can see, it has attracted three flies I didn’t even know were in my house! I knew one was, but this thing caught three plus all of the little flies that come in when they are near your outside light. There may even be a few fruit flies on it, as well, altho I haven’t had a problem with them so much recently. The item fits nicely in one of my kitchen sockets, and emits a faint blue light that acts not only as a flying insect attractant, but also acts as a nice little night light if needed. It’s quality made, and the refills you simply peel the outer paper off and slip into the holder and starts working the minute you plug it in! I am very happy with this product, and I know you will be, as well! Perfect for places that get the occasional irritating random fly zooming around the house. Have no fear, zero will get the job done!!!

This insect hunter has surprised me a lot. It has a discreet and modern design that does not look like the typical device for bugs, and the blue light effectively attracts insects without the need for chemicals or strong odors. It's easy to install, just plug it in and that's it, and it also doesn't make noise, which is perfect for use at night. Since I have it, I have noticed fewer mosquitoes and bugs in the area. Very good option if you want something practical, clean and safe for the home."

It took some time before it started to work. Placement is very important - it seems that it works better in a plug near a corner, although that could just be my experience. However, once I figured out the best place, it started to work fairly well. It's not perfect, but it definitely minimized the problem.

Would rate 10 stars if I could!! Works perfectly, easy to use, and caught a large number of fruit flies in one night. I tried natural and cheaper remedies, but this worked quickly and effectively. Also attracted a few flies. Worth the expense and I bought a 2nd one for another area of the house.

These things are amazing, they trap a bunch of fungus gnats I have been having because of my plants. They work better than the other vinegar and sticky traps I have used and are less of a hassle. Super easy to replace and double as a night light. I haven’t also used these off brand refills and some of them work just fine. I haven’t them in my kitchen and by my plants, as well as all over my office. You can never have too many of these if you have plants.

I was skeptical buying this b c of the rating. But I decided to give it a try. I cleared all organic material from the area. Put all fruit in fridge. Put kitchen sponge in Tupperware. Blocked the sink drains. Bleached the counters. In 48 hrs the vevo had captured all the bugs and they are gone. Do the work with the tool you purchase and it will work. Quality is ok. Safety seems fine. Lighting attracts bugs when there are no food sources. It’s a little builky but looks fine by the counter. Happy bug trapping!

I like this item but it is very overpriced. The light burns out and there is no replacement. It does trap flying pests but only if they go to the light.

I switched off lights and left it on during the night, next day it captured most of Gnats that were annoying. I did not expect that number of gnats. First night catched 11. *For Arab and Gulf countries, you need an adapter as the switch is an American switch. No need to change the voltage to 220v.

Product not compatible with UAE plugs you need an adapter. Only a couple of flies were caught but plenty are flying around.

It has been more than a day since we plugged in. We left it on in the night with other lights switched off. The area has a lot of fruit flies but it has not caught even a single one.
