Hi! I want to get this for a rental property. Can it just open with a passcode?

yes you can open the safe with just a passcode, if that's all you need though - you might want to consider a safe that does not include the fingerprint scanner. Regardless, it works just fine with just a passcode - I have mine set up with both passcode and fingerprint scanning. Did the passcode first so know that it works with just that an no fingerprint reading.

Are there instructions somewhere? There was none with the item
