Simple installation & easy to share securely.
This is so simple to fit. Moved in to a new house and the garage door opener was missing. By fitting the Ant I could use my mobile instead. Simple app too. Once you've set the app up on one phone it generates a unique bar code so that you can easily share the access on your partner's phone or any other device. For the price it's unbeatable.

Doesn't Work
It would be really helpful if the seller gave a little more info as to how this product works. My garage door controller has a pair of terminal connections for an external pushbutton to control the garage door. These are labelled "Imp" and "Com". Briefly shorting out Imp and Com opens the garage door. Once open, briefly shorting Imp and Com closes the garage door. Voltage across Imp and Com is within parameters for the Digital Ant device (20 something volts). Indications were that this device would work.Wired in device. Digital Ant's LED lit. Paired OK. Try to open door. Nothing.Tried with garage door's push button. Nothing.Remove device. Garage door works as normal. It seems the Digital Ant device is constantly shorting out Imp and Com in it's "off" state or it causes too great a voltage drop in its off state?Further tests:Voltage across Imp and Com: 25.8 VImmediately after connection Digital Ant device, voltage across Imp and Com: around 3.6 V but it was rising. I left the device attached until it reached a "steady" state. It finally settled on oscillating between 21.2 to 22.1 volts on a cycle of a few seconds. It took around 20 minutes to reach this state.Unclear as to whether the oscillating voltage or the 3.5ish voltage drop from normal causes the problem but the garage door controller refuses to work with the Digital Ant device connected.Removed the device. Garage door works. Voltage across Imp and Com: 25.7 V.For completeness, the voltage across Imp and Com does drop to zero briefly when the Digital Ant device is connected and activated via the app. It then returns to slightly below the 21.2 to 22.1 oscillating voltage but low and high value creep back up in tandem until they return to 21.2 to 22.1 volts.Returning device.

Some success
Just for prospective purchasers info, these work well for me when used with my two 20 year old Stanley ET380 chain driven garage door openers. Installation was as simple as described and passing the icons on to my wife's phone also very easy.It doesn't work for my Came Frog gate system, in spite of voltage being within range. My suspicion is that the 'contact close' time from the Digital Ant is not long enough to drive the gate controller's relay(s), as a simple length of wire does trigger the controller. So 2 out of 3 sorted with a backup opening mechanism, and at a pretty reasonable price compared to some other offerings.

Simple, effective, 5 min install.
Took 5 mins to install (and 20 mins reading my door opener's manual to check the connections). Works perfectly. App is simple, but does the job. No Apple Watch integration, or iOS widget, which would be a nice addition, but doesn't take away from the simple effectiveness of this gadget. Installed with Hormann Promatic opener. Recommended.

Quickly installed. Working in minutes.
This is a excellent little device - does exactly what it says on the tin/box.Took only a few moments to connect the wires to my Chamberlain garage door opener. Just wired in parallel with the wall switch. Then just a few moments to download the app, pair the devices, and away we go!Now, if only I could get it to work with Google Assistant using IFTTT...

The device didn't work with the Digital Ant app from Google Play Store.
It was easy to fit, and worked the first couple of times, then wasn't recognised by the phone. I reinstalled the Smart Garage app (and had to reboot the phone as the bluetooth had been corrupted), and again it worked a couple of times before failing again. I repeated this three of four times getting the same result .As it works at first, I assume it is compatible with my door opener, but I don't know if the problem lies with this device, or with the Smart Garage app. (I got no reply to the app author when I emailed.)

iPhone App not available un UK
Not a lot I can say about this, except if you're in the UK, there is no app to be able to use it on your iOS device.I will try to download on iTunes USA and see if that works, but I'm not holding my breath.Shame - I think this would have worked OK.

It works most of the time, but can be temperamental.
My first impression was positive, but I did get a bit confused about whether it would work with my Hormann door. I have a RFID, controller linked in using the normal switch input, basically a relay that connects the two wires, plus a button override. When I first attempted I got nowhere, thinking it wasn't suitable. I decided to see what options. The next day I tried again, after metering for the polarity, and I found it connected by using those same two wires. I wired it up, scanned the QRCODE, set up the link and it worked. One point I found was having disconnected to finalise fitting, I had to set it up again. There can be a delay in touching the app button and the door moving. But generally I found it worked. On a couple of occasions it didn't connect and operate I have to close the app, then restart it again.A downside of this system is that you don't know if the door is closed or open. It cannot indicate the status. I have advised my wife to make sure the app is closed after operating to avoid accidentally operating it. It does warn if it can't communicate though.I use it as the replacement remotes are £40 each. Plus my wife isn't happy getting out of her car to swipe the tag. I don't know what she would do if it was padlocked.
