Fuller House: Season 2 S2 (DVD)

Fuller House is basically in some ways a continuation of the Full House series. Fuller House featured the two oldest Tanner girls living together with Kimmy Gibbler and raising their families together. Don't worry Danny, Jessie, Joey, and Becky also appear from time to time in the series. Really the only character you will never see in this series is Michelle (the Olsen girls don't act anymore). The storylines are about what you would expect which makes it much like the original Full House series. The show is fun, sweet, and yes at times cheesy but I find that refreshing in this day and age. We all need those flashbacks to our childhood and most of us spend the vast majority of our time watching and listening to things that are far more intense.I guess technically D.J. (Candice Cameron) is the star of the show, but I find a grown up Stephanie and the fun antics of Kimmy Gibbler the most fun to watch. Andrea Barber (Kimmy) was always a scene stealer in the original and she is now and Barber is a seriously underrated actress. Interestingly the cheesiest episodes are the ones in which Danny, Jesse, Becky, and Joey are in as when they appear it is strictly for jokes. The younger cast are all strong actors and the show is fun to watch.

I ordered Fuller House season 2 on the day it was released and I had it two days later! The packaging was nice and I'm happy to be able to add it to my FH collection! I hope for many more seasons!

While not all tv show reboots are sucessful, this one certainly hit the mark. If you grew up enjoying the original "Full House", you will certainly love this. Similar family friendly, wholesome feel to the series. A little fresher to watch and does address some more modern themes (ie. Kids and social media, increasing consciousness towards living a "greener" lifestyle, etc.) While the new members of the cast are pretty likeable, the episodes where all the original cast members guest star are particularly great! Even better than season 1!

Great show, I hope it stays on air a long time. The characters and situations are modern and the actors are great and funny. A lovely show.
