Nippon Koda Herb & Earth - Cedar Less Smoke Incense

Would buy again. This was my first time trying this brand and the fragrance is really nice, authentic woody smell but one stick doesn't give off as much scent as I get from other brands. Once it's burned out, I find the smell is soon gone - hence the 4 star rating. the wood sticks are very thin and bendy (as noted by a previous reviewer) but I've not had a problem with them. There is some smoke, but it's a minimal amount.

I bought this as an experiment because one of our Zen Group members was coughing when we used Nippon Kodo's Mainichi-koh incense. She has coughed only once in several meetings with this incense, so that's a step in the right direction!

Nice woody fragrance, strong enough without being overpowering. Still smokes, but unlike other brands it doesn't smoke me out of the flat before the stick has burned halfway down. Good quality.

VERY happy with all three scents I bought: camomile, sandalwood and cedar. All three smell pleasant and natural which is an important aspect for my next purchase. Haven't given it 5 stars because the sticks burn quickly. I tested with a timer and it turns out that one stick lasts 25 min. Would have been better to have it last 35-40 min.

I felt that these incense sticks had a very thin stem which could easily break when trying to put them into the holder, I did not feel that they were particularly smokeless than any of the other ones that I use. I believe that they reached me within the time given for despatch and delivery.

I love this product because the fragrance is divine & there is very little smoke. The delivery was prompt also.
