Very good for price
Excellent product, little fiddly for charging the headset but overall fantastic for the price

Great price, works well with the controllers
Brilliant price for a very decent charging dock. Only thing is the headset doesn't shoot in it quite right without putting the head band over the top top weigh out forward. Charges the 2 controllers brilliantly with 2 batteries and new controller covers. Superb price and works. Highly recommended.

Absolutly perfect purchase for use.
I was slightly heasitant before ordering this. Other reviews made me feel like this was less adequit then a more expensive dock, but then the more expensive docks didn't have great reviews them selves. But I am so glad I bought this. It's a great priced dock, and keeps things neat and tidy. Also while other docks expect you to have to plug your headset in, this one actually makes use of the charging pins. So you just drop the headset in and it will charge. It's the same with the controllers and it even has a handy little channel to keep your wrist straps out of the way.The lights will glow red when charging, but then sit at green once everything is fully charged.I've had no issues with overheating or batery problmes and sometimes I leave my meta quest on the dock for at least a week.It comes with rechargable batteries for the controllers, which have mettal tabs on the sides and inturn connect to a new set of battery cover hoods. These new hoods have discreet little pin connectors, so just like the headset, you just drop them in and let the charge.Just make sure the batteries are rotated the right way around so that there metal tabs make contact with the hood contacts.

Useless for the Meta Quest 3
This is an expensive of way of being able to do what you can with the charging cable. Whilst you can mount the headset in the cradle and charge this, the controllers cannot be charged as they lack the external plates that would sit on top of the pins in the dock to charge the controllers. You dont need this to be able to charge the headset when you can simply plug the cable straight into the headset. Sending it back for a refund and will get a standalone dock/stand for it. Wouldnt recommend as the main reason for buying to assist in buying the controllers, is pointless. You do not get the covers pictured with this to be able to charge the standard controllers.

Works great, but ...
Device is pretty much spot on. The negative reviews saying the controllers aren't charging are because people haven't realised the rechargeable batteries need to be lined up inside each controller to their contact points. The only.negative I have is the weight of the strap means the headset doesn't always sit on the contact points, so it can sometimes need a little shuffle, but otherwise, it's great

A cheaper option, for a reason
The product works and is essentially functional - with some important caveats.1. if you have any other items on your Q3 (controller grips, silicone covers, battery packs etc) they will ALL have to come off so that the controllers and headset will fit onto the charging station. This means if you use any of the fitness related apps, you'll be swapping grips back and forth Everytime you charge. Not the end of the world, but not ideal.2. The headset, when placed in the charging station, doesn't charge reliably. This is because it doesn't sit correctly and make connection with the charging pins. It is therefore necessary to try and angle the headset to tip the front of the headset down enough to make contact with the pins. Again, not ideal, but you get what you pay for

Excellent docking station so far
I read the mixed reviews for this product, a lot of which said the right hand controller wouldn’t charge, and they were fiddly to place to get a decent connection, but as I didn’t want to pay £80-£90 for a docking station I decided to go with this one. The headset fit perfectly into it’s place without any adjustments and started charging immediately. I put the right hand controller in its place and it started flashing red. Here we go I thought …. I put the left hand controller in and that one started to charge immediately. I retuned to the right hand one and removed the battery cover. I’d noticed two silver strips on one side of the batteries and on the right hand controller, when I removed the cover I couldn’t see them, so I spun the battery round 180 degrees until the silver strips were visible. I put the cover back on, put it in the docking station and immediately it started to charge. So, even the user manual (which you get online from the Venom website) doesn’t explain this, but hopefully anyone reading this review will know that the silver strips on the rechargeable battery have to be visible/on top when inserted into the controller. The docking station itself seems sturdy enough and hopefully will have many years of charging both my headset and controllers.

Nice, does the job
The main headset can lose connection if additional battery pack but just needs to be angled right and works fine
