Great home gym setup
Bought 6 plates 25lb, pretty smelly when opened. Washed with soup and hot water, wiped. Cleaned with vinegar twice. Cleaned with alcohol, let it dry. Left them for 2 day in the half opened garage with vent on. Smell almost gone. Decent quality for the money. Going to buy 4 plates 35lb each.Overall quality is nice, had 2 workouts already, very happy with them.

Great Value for a quality product.
If you want a lot of bounce, these are not those plates. They provide minimal bounce but the rubber is firm and is way better than traditional metal plates if you drop them during deadlifts. I wouldn't use these for Olympic lifts. These are a great value at less than a dollar a pound (at my time of purchase, YMMV). Otherwise they have held up well, look good and serve their purpose.

Can't beat for the price
For less than a dollar per pound, these are very good bumper plates. I checked on the scale and the weight is spot on. Can't speak to how they hold up for olympic lifting but for basic compound lifts (deadlift/bench/squat) they are great. The people complaining about the smell are being a bit sensitive, the smell is there but its just a rubber smell that wears off after a day or 2. Nothing you haven't smelt in a tire shop or sporting goods store before. Its not a "toxic chemical smell" like people complain. I got a pair of the 45s, 25s, and 10s. My one gripe would be that the 10s are a bit flimsy and aren't perfectly flat. But unless you are deadlifting with nothing but 10s on the bar for some reason.. its a non issue. The collar is a much nicer fit for the olympic bar than the metal cap plates as well. Wish I would have bought these initially instead of the cap steel plates. Best price for bumper plates online

Excellent value
These are an unbeatable value, especially since Covid made workout equipment pricing go crazy. I was able to buy 2x 55lb bumper plates for less than anything on the used market. Arrived well packaged, although I wasn't very worried about these getting damaged considering the intended use. The work great with both of my Olympic barbells (one cheap Cap unit and a nice powerlifting bar) and have a solid feel when setting them down with little bounce. I'm not usually someone who drops weights, but these seem like they are pretty bullet-proof under normal 'controlled' decent after power cleans or Pendlay rows. Very happy customer!

Great value for what you get.
The only small con I can see is the smell when they are freshly opened. But for the price, for someone that isn't trying to be a professional weight lifter requiring extremely precise weight precision or such but is trying to get themselves much stronger than they are currently, I personally couldn't find any better option out there.Currently, I'm using the 55 lb budget bumper on my T-bar row setup. Works much better than having my metal plates hit the floor.Worth noting, if you are super strong, bumpers are usually always going to take up more room on a bar than a steel plate. For most people that are not, this aspect won't really negatively affect anything.

A bit flimsy but decent
I ordered a pair of 10lbs, 25lbs, and (4) 45lb plates. I opted for the “budget” line because of a sub $1/lb price. It’s literally the best value on the market right now. So value wise, they’re great. Quality? Eh, not bad. The 10lb plates cannot be used with a bar and dropped. I can bend them slightly in my hands. The 25lb plates do much better being twice as thick. The steel insert looks like it will pop out quite easily but could be reinserted. Slight smell but not overwhelming; I left them in the garage for a few days to air out. Overall, for the price, I love these bumper plates. I can’t give a 5 star review because I just don’t believe the longevity will be there. Sub $1/lb, NEW BUMPER PLATES: how can you say no? I will buy the “best” plates next time but these are great and I expect to get great use out of them.

Excellent weights for budget-conscious gyms
I was looking for a weight set and decided on bumper plates as I liked the added floor protection and not having to worry about rust. I was on a budget so cost was a concern. I found a set listed as "Amazon's Choice" containing two each 10/15/25/35/45 for $400 plus $65 shipping and was going to buy it before finding these CAP weights. Even though I had to buy them separately (not as a set in a single purchase) I wound up saving more than $200 ($465 for the set vs $245 for the equivalent CAP weights). By itself that's a solid win for me.As far as the weights themselves go I have no real complaints. Their posted weights are accurate to under a third of an ounce. There's a polished steel ring at the center which allows for easy carrying and slides easily and smoothly onto a 2" Olympic-diameter bar. Their design is simple and basic but that's fine; why do my weights need to have flashy colors or patterns on them? The different weights are different colors making identification quick and easy. The weights did initially have a strong "new tire" smell which is to be expected, but the worst of it dissipated pretty quickly and now it's no stronger than your average car tire. Paired with a 5' CAP solid bar I've got a compact, budget-friendly weight system to work with for a long time coming.

Nice plates
55lbs each. They seem to be good plates. I haven't had them long. But they work and they do what they're supposed to do. They fit well on my bars. No problems.

Great durable plates
Was a great price as well when I bought them a few months ago, but they have since doubled in price for some reason.

Very good for value
The product exceeded my quality expectations given its low cost. Its very bulky and has a larger thickness and diameter than most other 45 lb plates from other manufacturers. Its also hard to hold onto the plates because of the small finger grip around the outer rim. This makes them a bit sketchy to load onto a bar. The main positive is price.
