Excellent price and great quality. The plastic stopper fitted perfectly and with ease. I used a rubber hammer to fit it in the pipe due to the fact it was going in an unused toilet pipe and I didn’t want to get too intimate and use my hands. Bought this to block the drain where my washing machine and sink used to empty into .we re directed the drain pipe to empty down a different drain when building an extension. It's good and was a good fit .

We are renovating our downstairs cloakroom and we’d taken the toilet out so bought this to cap the soil pipe. Fitted the 10.5cm pipe perfectly as it’s quite flexible and has done the job of keeping the bad smells contained.

The job I was using this for is not a normal blanking off job so I was thinking outside the box a little. For some reason I thought this was to fit over the pipe but I am not a plumber. Obviously not as the internal measurement of the cap is 9cm. I then realised that it must go inside the pipe. The measurement of the pipe that I want to block off is 11cm externally so I did not think it would fit. but it did, with a bit of fiddling.I dont know why this can not be a permanent solution for my problem as I am not blocking a pipe with constant water flow. I hope it lasts a long time and if not I can always get another one. Very pleased at the moment.
