First of all, this bun donut is massive, easily twice the size of the largest one I had before this. My hair was barely long enough to be able to cover the whole thing properly (my hair is about shoulder blade length), but I was able to make it work. Someone with longer hair shouldn't have a problem. I absolutely love how dramatic of a look this bun donut creates. I was also surprised at how gentle this thing is for my hair. The other bun donuts I have, are make of fairly scratchy material, which I sometimes worry may be damaging my hair, but the material for this one is much softer to the touch. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this donut, exactly what I wanted.

This item is exactly as described but I will say it is the largest donut I've ever seen. This is easily twice the size of the large donuts I find in stores. It's well made and will definitely last, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna use it to be honest. My hair isn't thick or curly or textured so the bun of this size looks really unnatural and impossible. (I have straight Caucasian hair.) If my hair were curly, a messy bun of this size would look cool. I could also see this working well under headscarves.

This bun is gigantic! Be aware! The girls are starting this Trend with the ballerina bun! I wanted to try but this bun was too big! Be aware lol still cute though you have been warned.

This bun maker is awesome. Well made. Sturdy. Just make sure you have enough hair to cover it. I barely did. But it's black so even if a little shows it's not that noticeable if you have black hair! If you want a big bun. This is it !

Kam leider schon mit gezogenen Fäden an. Ansonsten richtig groß und damit für Dichte, längere Haare geeignet.

A much improved version of the tiny old inflexible versions. Large, soft, spongy and super fast to use. I have light blonde hair. This black version emphasizes the colour beautifully. Could pin through it but don't have to because my hair is long enough to wrap around it several times which keeps it in place. Many people have been complimentary about my hairstyle and how I achieved it. Pleased with this purchase.
