J MAC BOTANICALS Organic Moringa Leaf (16 oz) dried organic leaves from the Egyptian Nile Valley, malunggay leaves fresh

A few months ago a cousin & I were discussing Moringa and it's benefits, that's about the time I tried Moringa for the first time. I especially appreciate having the "J MAC BOTANICALS Organic Moringa Leaves, moringa leaf, moringa tea" as the pure product is my favorite. This large 16oz bag will hold me for awhile. The only ingredient is organic Moringa oleifera, cut & sifted. It has a USDA Organic symbol on the front of the package. It arrives in an approx 12" x 12" thick, foil lined bag with a sturdy ziplock-type closure. The leaves come from Egypt and are packaged in the USA. Directions for making tea is 1-2 tsp of loose tea per 8 oz hot water (185 degrees) and let steep for 4-5 minutes. I'm usually more generous with the amount. I've had a variety of purchased teabags that include moringa and while I like them I prefer the loose leaves. Sometimes I drink the tea as it and other times I add a variety of other pure & dried leaves, seeds, berries or flowers. I generally drink teas on a daily basis in the late afternoons & evenings. I received this bag the first of November 2023 and it's Best By Date is August of 2026. Of course, it is fine after that it just may not be as potent or fresh tasting. This product is delicious! (Those who are not accustomed to pure fresh leaves may not like it as well.) My product came cut & sifted into small pieces but you can almost powder it by putting some in an electric coffee grinder. I have couple dedicated for only pure leaves, seeds, flowers etc. I pulse it for a little bit then wiggle the grinder a bit to even it out and pulse again. After doing that numerous times it was mostly either powdered or very tiny flakes. Moringa powder does pouff when pulsing so I take the top off and let it out and it smells wonderful just like that!

This is a big bag of cut and sifted dried Moringa leaves that are great for making tea in a tea ball (at least that is how I like to use it.) I have recently been learning about the benefits of Moringa so I have been excited to use this. It smells and tastes very fresh and it comes in a resealable bag to keep it that way between uses. I especially like that it is organic.

Thjis bag was so much bigger than I expected it would be. You are able to make so many different batches of tea with this bag. The abundance was overwhelming and I was really happy to enjoy this product. Moringa is so good for you! Now you can enjoy it in a tea! Fabulous!

I have so much moringa leaves, I don't know what to do with them! I am very happy with my order. The bag is able to be zip-locked when not in use, but the zip isn't one of those slidey zips, if you know what I mean. The moringa has a strong scent, but it becomes a lot more mild in tea (not as strong as green tea), and makes my fruit smoothies taste more vegetable-like. I can't wait to add it to all my cooking-- curry, soups, marinades, until my whole family becomes sick of the flavor of moringa. (in a good way) This bag feels like it's going to last me years. (hopefully before its expiration date)Nonetheless, when I tried to blend the leaves into a finer powder for me to use in baking (and for matcha replacements), the leaves didn't get fine enough for my use. I am a bit disappointed in that, but this isn't the product's fault. Hm, maybe I'll try to bake with it via concentrating its tea or using the non-fine leaves in cakes anyways.

This is a nice big bag of chopped and sifted moringa leaves. It's pretty full and well dried, but it still has a fragrant leafy "tea" aroma. This one bag will last a long time.

This is the biggest bag of tea I've ever had. It's like 12' x 12', 16 oz with large moringa leaves inside. Has a nice seal on the bag to keep the leaves fresh, and all the leaves I've had so far were fresh as well. I never had moringa tea before, but it's quite pleasant. It's a mild drink that taste earthy, with very little bitterness to it. Leaves me feeling refreshed and the type of drink that you can have anytime.

Moringa seems to be a good There are some twigs in it so I had to watch out for that. The the leaves are surprisingly tough, so don't crumble well and thus there's ot as much nutrition as the ground kind and almost impossible to chew if you try to add it to yogurt crushed by hand, as I tried. So it's okay for tea but I wish it were crushed or ground as I expect I'm not getting as much nutrients from the whole leaves. The flavor is a bitter subtle undertone to an earthy flavor, not as much of the green taste I'm used to in the ground moringa I usually get.
