Functioning as designed, good deal.
Working as designed but you need to use STEEL BBs, not copper. The copper ones will cause it to jam up and misfire.

I honestly couldn't believe how heavy it was. I must've got a later model because it has the locking mechanism for the bbs to make it alot easier to load. Here's a couple of tips to load them easier. 1.) drop them in individually and in small sets at a time. 2.) teeter totter the bbs while knocking lightly on the side because they'll double stack on their own by doing this. 3.) Be Patient there's no rush!!! Being in a rush only jams the mag and it only takes all the fun out of shooting!

I was given this mp40 as a gift for my 60th birthday.
I will let you know that I have put over 5,000 bb's thru this mp40, yes that is a lot of CO2 cartridges. The seal at the top of the magazine tore and the little tube inside the clip let loose and blocks the bb's from feeding. Overall I have been enjoying this mp40 at our camp on the river. What an exciting time. The one thing I did not like is that I had to order a new clip at the cost of $90.00. I should have just bought the whole new mp40 for $180.00 and would have an extra bb machine gun. Overall I am pleased with this mp40.

It has the loading spring stop for easy reloading.
I wasn't sure if this had the spring stop for easy loading but it does or at least mine did. It wasn't clear from the description. 2 different prices from the same seller for the same item I guess?
