DMSO non-diluted gel doesn't require a cotton ball, as does the liquid; nor does it carry the odor for which DMSO liquid is known. A little goes a long way, and applying it by hand eliminates waste. Uses include burns, varicose veins, injuries which might otherwise develop bruises, or areas that could use quick delivery of oxygen. Application to open wounds might induce burning or stinging; and be forewarned: application to chicken pox induces unbearable itching.

This stuff works. Only side effect was a little rash so I used less. Took the pain away right away. I highly recommend it for all aches and pains.

My biggest complaint: DMSO Store doesn’t offer an overnight shipping option. I purchased after reading DMSO is very effective for shingles. It works well. My welts/sores/light blistering noticeably improved within 2-4 hours of each application. The real godsend was that is dramatically reduced the pain. This attack started with a wrench in my neck that hurt from the top of my head to my elbow badly enough I couldn’t sleep at night…for days. That was 90% better after the first application and has stayed at that level since. The downside is I must be one of those with sensitive skin. The 99.99% turned my skin bright pink and burns, progressively worse with each application. It’s much more tolerable after I began mixing about 50/50 with aloe gel. It also leaves my skin feeling dry. Aloe is good. No smell at all for me. Completely odorless.

This DMSO gel is undiluted meaning 100% strength. Dilute to 70% or less to avoid blistering or itching. For example 7 tablespoons of this gel plus 3 tablespoons of distilled water. Place in container and shake vigorously for 1-2 minutes. The gel will now be 70% although a bit thinner. For 60%, 6 tablespoons DMSO gel plus 4 tablespoons distilled water. Please note, adding water and shaking DMSO gel will generate heat but this is normal. Extra credit: How do you make 50% DMSO gel?

Returns cost too much, almost took the entire refund. Customer service was good, but description was a blatant lie. I use a plain blue label normally that is absolutely odorless, but I tried this brand based on reviews... what a joke. The description claimed their product was odorless because of their filtering methods, but I was knocked back by the overpowering stink when I opened my order. I have zero idea how so many reviews haven't reported this, but be warned... this stuff has a stink so bad it will scare a skunk away!!! They claim "less odor", but false advertising is still a crime, and to discourage, they claim they won't refund for opened product and make you pay shipping to return unused/unopened. Unless you are truly afraid of Vampires or just want to keep people from coming within a mile of you... you don't want this much garlic stank anywhere close. It makes rental bowling shoes smell seem nicer than roses.... try at your own risk.

Seems like a quality product but at 99.9 strength it's too strong to use directly on my skin. I tried to dilute it with distilled water but it wouldn't mix. I should have ordered the liquid version. Wasted 40 bucks 😒 Edit: I bought some Caster oil mixed it 50/50 in a CLEAN glass jar with the DMSO put the jar in warm water & it mixed at least partially. Doesn't burn as much, still wish I would have bought the liquid version of DMSO.

This really brings on the heat, a little goes a LONG way. I made the mistake of wiping the little bit on the lid on my knee. It was too much and even though the heat felt fabulous it made me itch (I'm on the spectrum and super sensitive). Try a tiny dab at first!
