Stirring story
As usual this was a fine story and I was unable to put it down. One small negative, its conversion from paper left quite a number of typos!

Awesome Story but too many spelling mistakes
KK, well I am slowly making my way through all the Bolitho books and so far I have enjoyed every single one, and this one is no exception. However, one thing that has spoiled this instalment is the huge amount of spelling mistakes in it, including exclamation marks being replaced by the number 1. "Close" was often spelled "dose", and sometimes names of ships had neighbouring letters mixed up. It is clear that the publisher had missed this one during proof-reading, which is a shame as all of the previous books were fine. The story however is great and thoroughly enjoyable. Bolitho is now a Flag Captain which means he is a senior captain and is posted to a three-decker (like HMS Victory is) on which a Vice (or was it Rear) Admiral is in overall command of the small squadron. However this admiral seems to have spent too much time behind a desk shore side and is causing Bolitho some real headaches as he seems indecisive and making bad decisions. On top of this much of the fleet elsewhere has mutinied. An action-packed story which all Bolitho fans will enjoy. Shame about the large number of typos.

The Flag Captain
I’m speechless, Andrew Kent has done it again. Another high action stunning and absorbing tale of our hero Richard Bolitho’s experiences at sea. Full of action the story roles effortlessly and I had to stay up to 1.30am to finish this fantastic story. I have loved every page of these books and it will be a sad day when I finish the final one. Andrew Kent’s writing is fluid and clear and I must say he is one of the best authors of this type of story I have ever had the pleasure of following. Highly recommended.

Another superb book in the series. As commented by others, badly let down by a lack of proof reading. Constant spelling mistakes litter the whole book.
As mentioned the entire book needed to have been proof read. Annoying to see this, but a quality story nonetheless.

Satisfying read from a master story-teller
Part of the enthralling Bolitho dynasty series. As dramatic as ever and love life mixed with realistic depiction of naval action throughout a turbulent period of history.

Finally, a broad pennant...
A great read. Very insightful of the great mutiny, it's causes and aftermath. Loved the naval action in the Mediterranean and North African coast. Will start on the next volume shorthy.

Just wish they had run a spell check on the novel before releasing it! Still a great read and on to the next one in the series.
