You will have to hit the dead center of the stud and angle the 2 outside screws but any competent person installing a handrail will be able to do this. Or, you can shift it over and get 2 screws straight into the stud and the 3rd goes into the sheetrock just to fill the hole. Either way, if you do it right, these are solid and well made. Good hardware, good brackets, adjustable angle, and they look great. A+

We like to look at the latest styles and designs.We saw a ton of homes that used brackets just like these and wooden handrails.So it's a very in style look.We have black railings so the brackets match those very well. The wood handrail will look good next to this.These are strong and solid.Uncomplicated as well.

These brackets are STURDY easy to install and whomever came up with the loosened rail attachment design is a genius! Being able to loosen an Allen bolt until the brackets are attached to the wall made this the easiest installation in our home yet!
