The first FitFlop sandal was sold in 2007, after Dr. David Cook and Darren James (biomechanists at London South Bank University LSBU) collaborated with Marcia Kilgore (an entrepreneur and multi-tasking mum) to create the world ’s first muscle-activating flip flop. Built with simple sport y looking upper straps and an ergonomically engineered Microwobbleboard midsole, the concept was a phenomenal – and global – success. So when fans began to send feedback detailing how ‘fantastic’ FitFlop™ sandals made them feel (subsequent research at Salford University uncovered our Microwobbleboard technology had remarkable underfoot-pressure diffusing and shock attenuating properties), Kilgore decided to take this technology and weave it into a full, multi-occasion footwear collection. Now boasting two patent-pending technologies: Microwobbleboard and Biomimetix midsoles, FitFlop’s goal is to create fun, energizing, beautiful shoes that – when you wear them – make you feel like you’ve got the world at your feet.

Nice and comfy--cut smaller than my other suede fitflop mukluks
I ordered one pair--they got lost. They sent me another and the first package showed up. Good thing though, because one pair were too small and the other just right...strange, all my other fit flops that I buy duplicates of fit identical to each other. Anyway, sending the shorter pair back, keeping the good ones. Most fitflops I have to size down 1/2 size. I'm narrow and it works for me. This one, even the "right" pair, well, my toes are right there, but its still comfy and wonderful--just not as roomy. The suede is softer and moves easier though--this one took a day of wear to soften up. Still, it's fit flop and the most comfortable brand of any shoe / boot I've ever worn. I love the light colored suede one best though--softest. These are more durable though, in leather.

Good quality leather
Got these to keep my feet warm at night. Good quality leather. The shearling lining is a tan color and very soft. A little snug around the balls of the feet. The heel and shaft are very roomy so going up a size isn't an option. A shame these don't come in half sizes. I'll wear them a few times with thick toed socks and they'll be as comfy as the rest of my almost two dozen pair of Fitflops.

Cozy boots, but would be better in 1/2 sizes
I really like these boots because they are warm (!!!), easy to get in and out. Feature really nice leather and finish. The shaft is not too tight and would allow pants to be shoved inside the boots if needed. They feature the same "wobble board" as my Goghs and are approximately the same platform height.I have purchased these at the end of the season in February when many stores are already sold out of the most common sizes - in my case size 8.5. Since I have a pair of FitFlops Gogh clogs in size 9 I did order the boots in a size 9 first, but they turned out too big. I then ordered a size 8 and they turned out too small. So what am I to do? Since I get along with a size 9 in my Goghs I chose the boots in size 9 over size 8 since those were definitely too small. I put a cushion insole in and decided to wear thick socks and go with the flow. I would have needed a size 8.5 for these to fit perfectly. It worked out OK and I'm happy that I will have these for the next few years.Overall these are very nice leather boots.

Comfy
This boot has the comfort I expect from FitFlop. Heel support is more what I need although the arch support feels like it's there too - I have plantar fasciitis and my heels get very sore. It's not "cute"...it is utilitarian and plain with no frills, which is fine with me. Leather seems to be good quality. The inside lining of the boot is not soft - I thought it was wool because it was so scratchy but I believe it is actually acrylic, so I try to wear crew socks with it. The only problem tends to be that tall socks are pulled down by boots with the motion of walking so I am frequently pulling up my socks. Wearing ankle socks eliminates that problem if you can handle the acrylic rubbing your ankles above the socks. Now, I normally wear an 8 in shoes but often in FitFlop sandals I wear a 7. I ordered an 8 in these and they fit fine, if a bit wide (and I have slightly wide feet).

too big...
Too large for me, going to return it. This is warm and comfy boots but sizes are... I usually wear 9 with true size 8 1/2. Like a little room for my toes so I usually order 9. Boots should usually fit pretty well with size 9 but this one my heels are coming off from the boots. I would recommend to try other fit flop shoes and determine the size. Last summer I bought lulu(?) sandal from fit flop. Again, size 9 was too big... 8 was small... Although gogh sandal was fine in 9... I guess I can't wear fitflop until they come up with 1/2 sizes.

Great Again!
I have 7 pairs of fitflop boots from the suede to the tall and shearling versions. I really hoped to get a boot by them that was wider at the ankle than the Crush and this boot seemed to be all that I could want. I am very happy with the fit and the color. This boot is ultra warm and has a thermo lining unlike the suede ones. Totally toasty. The leather looks good and will age well. I love these boots and think that it will be hard to take them off!!!! The shearling lining does seem a bit thin in places but I can live with that. They are great support for winter feet!.

Leather does not roll down easily as shown
Cute boots in the picture but bulky and clumsy looking on my feet. Leather does not roll down easily as shown. I returned the boots. Fitflop sole was comfortable as my clogs but boot was big and awkward for me.

... summer - the only shoes that I now find comfortable with metatarsalgia
Have been in Fit flops all summer - the only shoes that I now find comfortable with metatarsalgia. These are great - warm, & very comfortable. What more could I ask for with my painful foot problems?

WE BOUNCE ALONG
Totally warm and comfy with bare feet, don't need socks. Well insulated from the ground. I like bare feet all year round. Wear fitflop sandals, clogs or boots all the time now. Just swop over to these on rainy days and the dog and I are off for a comfy walk. We bounce along. Easy to slide feet in but stay secure when walking. My suede fitflop boots are also fab, worn all day on city break, no sore feet at the end of the day. No sore feet at the end of ANY day. Fitflops are brilliant, just try for yourself. ***UPDATE*** Worn every day for over 3 months, rain, mud etc on dog walks. Cope with it all, sturdy and polish up like new from horrendously muddy. Very warm and comfy with furry wool lining. I am impressed with quality and sure I will enjoy for many more winters.

Love my fitflop Mukluks
Absolutely love my fitflop mukluk moc2 .. I ordered my usual size US 8 & they fit perfect. They are a chunky boot but I find them really comfortable with the usual fitflop sole. They come with a Shearling foot lining to put in them but as I ordered overseas, I live in Australia I don't need an exceptionally warm boot so I don't use the foot liner. For winter here they are perfect.
