Hubby wanted a stand so that he could leave some of his books open to display the beautiful inner pages. This works well. The size works for a variety of books and the acrylic makes it look like the books are floating. My one complaint is that since it slides together, and there is nothing to really hold it togetger, we keep having to slip it back together when we switch books out. But, for the price, I’m ok with that.

These couldn't support any cookbook, nor decent coffee table book. Standard magazine at best
