Great Boots
I have never been disappointed with Irish Setter boots. They fit well and the boots are built for the long haul. These boots look tame, but they're tough as nails.

Not made in the usa!
The description clearly states made in usa. When I opened the box the first thing I saw was a made in china tag. I looked on the tounge tag and it also says made in china. Not happy I was deceived. I would have rated boots 5 if they were accurately described. They are very comfortable and well made. To bad a former great boot maker has resorted to china for production.

Great Boots
Good boot. Very stylish, gotten a lot of attention wearing these bad boys around. Take some getting used to/breaking in. Overall, they look pretty solid and well built. Will have to see how they hold up over time.

You get what you pay for.
This is a pricey boot considering its made in China. But the materials appear to be quality, the construction is solid, and the boot is VERY comfortable. I'm curious to see how the gum rubber sole wears, as it seems very soft, and other buyers have reported that it hasn't worn very well for them. Other outlets claim that this boot is waterproof, but I see no evidence of that, so I'd recommend a good waterproofing spray to protect the leather.

Another quality boot from Irish Setter/Redwing
I bought these boots as more of a casual around town type of boot but I've ended up wearing them in my rotation at work. Very comfortable out of the box. I have a pretty high arch and the stock insole wasn't to par so I slid in my pair of aftermarket insoles.Pros:Soft cushy outer gum sole very springyClassic look with mock toe and thick lasesI usually wear a size 12, my last pair of Setters ran a bit big.11.5 fit perfectly.Great around town and cruzing the streets with the fellasCoins:Not waterproof but water repellent. I wouldn't let them get soaked thoughThe soft him sole might wear down faster than others but I'm not worried about it yet.They are resoleable.Definitely recommend them!

I really like the boots but I'm tired of getting the factory ...
the toe had a minor defect. I really like the boots but I'm tired of getting the factory defects on Amazon!

ran smaller than expected
in the same maker boot my son wears 10.5 but in this boot it is too small. Gave for xmas so hope I can return to get right size.
