VistaProtect - Premium Privacy Filter & Anti blue Light Filter for Apple MacBook, Easy On/Off with Nano Technology (MacBook Pro 13" 2016+ & MacBook Air 2019+)

As an anti-glare and screen protector, it works really well. On my MacBook Pro 15" 2017 it fits well (sticky version) and whilst the lid does not snap shut in true Apple style, it does close and puts the Mac in standby mode. As privacy screen, it does not do a full job in my opinion. If I sit next to the Mac pretending another passenger I can clearly get an idea of which application is being used, be it Word, Chrome or Lightroom. The screen is not completely dark. However, it is difficult to see the words being typed or any detail in pictures.If I stand up, then things become more visible. So for me, it does not work as well as I had hoped.

Not sure what to make of this. The product fits well, but after a while it loses its ability to stay in place. Then it keeps falling off. There are better ones out there....but you will pay more.

The privacy screen does exactly what it is supposed to do and narrows the viewing angle so that, for example, the person sitting on the train next to can't see what you are doing (I have tested this on a train and it works well).It does of course darken the screen a bit so you have to put the brightness up slightly to compensate. Also, my 12-inch MacBook won't close as snugly as it did before but I haven't had any problems with battery loss (the screen stays off when I close the laptop).

My colleagues at work has other brands of the privacy filter, and it's very easy to take on/off, while this one is using an adhesive bar that is very hard to put in the right place and in most cases it ends up covering the menu bar. Wouldn't recommend it. I am not returning it because I have removed the adhesive bars thinking that it's gonna stick to the screen by itself.

Although this screen protector is a fantastic idea it simply needs more development. The top bar of the screen protector is too thick and when you close the MacBook it doesn’t magnetically lock and therefore the backlit keyboard doesn’t turn off and it doesn’t shut securely. I am disappointed with this purchase as I thought at a price point like this it would be good.

This privacy screen is nice material and does restrict the view on the screen. But it has a major flaw that makes it virtually unusable. The sticky bar that attaches to the screen completely covers the menu bar. It is necessary to trim about 4 mm off of the top of the privacy screen to make it usable.

This doesn't fit my 15" Macbook Pro Touchbar 2017 edition. The top black part of the filter blocks my mac menu bar. I had to cut about 1/2 cm off the top of the filter to make space, and it just leaves jagged edges along the top now. Not great, but after a cut, it does the job fine.

Good privacy but the thickness of the top sticky strip prevents my MacBook Pro 2017 from going to sleep when you close the lid.. Also if you want to remove it and pop it in your bag in order to use it again later I imagine the sticky strip could collect lots of debris and loose it's stickiness over time.
