Easy to work with
I bought this to insulate the dinette seat in our camper from the hot water take below. I needed something thin, flexible and easy to install because of the very minimal clearance I had. This stuff fit the bill perfectly. It was easy to cut with a decent pair of sharp scissors, though the seller provided a nice little mat knife (and high quality foil tape!) if you prefer. The foam between the foil laminate didn’t flake, shred, crumble or collapse, nor did the foil delaminate along the edges of the cut. Since it’s so well made, you could cut really small pieces or trim to intricate shapes with confidence that it won’t fall apart. For my application, I mostly stapled it in place with a regular-nothing-fancy staple gun and some of the tape the seller provided. I’m sure you could use an adhesive if you needed to, but I’d test the adhesive I was planning on using on a small sample of both the foil and the foam to make sure you get the bond you want and that the adhesive didn’t damage the foil or the foam. Anyway, I’m happy with the product and it met or exceeded my expectations. Remember, it’s a thin product made for specific applications where space is at a premium, so there is only so much thermal or “R” value it can provide. It’s a well made product produced in the USA by American workers which just plain makes me feel good. Hope this review was helpful.

Great DIY boat sun shield!
Perfect sun shield for the pilothouse windshield on our Bayliner 4588. Trimmed off about 2" from the top and rounded the bottom corners. Cut a slit down the middle about 3/4 of the way down and used the aluminum tape to seal the overlap. We use 2" blue tape to seal the 2 side edges to the edge of the windshield. Super quick to remove when we need, and just as quick to put up. Looks professional and was easy to fit. Quality of the shield is great, it's lightweight and sturdy. Thanks!

This is the BOMB!
This stuff really works. My wall across the back of my house is not insulated. My son helped me cover inside kitchen cabinet walls because it felt like a breeze blowing out of them. Also insulated all wall socket openings. This made a huge difference in comfortability for anyone in that space.

I didn't just buy a great product, I bought a complete kit!
I purchased the thermal blanket product in a roll form so that I could custom wrap my domestic hot water tank. I was pleased and surprised that in addition to receiving the roll of material, It also contained a small roll of high quality aluminum tape (great adhesive material), a plastic squeegee and a utility knife. All I needed to add was a straight edge a marker and tape measure. The insulating blanket material was easy to work with and wrapping it around the tank was a breeze!I highly recommend all DYIer's to purchase this material and save money on your gas/electric or oil costs this winter.Ron S.

Great product, made from recycled materials, made in USA!
I replaced the 50 year old interior insulation of my 1975 Boler trailer with this. Love this stuff! Cuts with scissors, non toxic, very lightweight, was super easy to cut irregular curved shapes. I bought a full roll of aluminum tape at the local hardware so my seams are fully closed. It's way better insulated now than before and made in USA!

Great for insulation not that cheap bubble wrap.
Great but not on glass where I lose heat but helps with around the seals on sliding glass doors. Very light weight but works very well. It comes with a tape but I UAE double stick gorilla tape and stuck to windows and now better heat trap and dark. I can NIW sleep all day or more.

Bubbles
The ad says it is foam "not cheap bubbles" yet it is bubbles. This is not foam. It's small bubble wrap more or less. You can pop it with your fingers. Might work well in some cases but I exorcism foam core as advertised
