Goldwood Sound 120 Watt 8ohm Poly Mica 5" Speaker Midrange Black (GM-85/8)

This is an excellent quality and performing mid range speaker, i have now used 4 of these on different projects, the first a year ago as replacements on my 1983 radio shake optimus tower speakers, excellent, now using in my garage speaker i built on a 200watt pyle amp, no problems!

The speaker works as advertised with some slight exceptions. I suspect if you pumped more than about 20 watts RMS into this thing you would find pieces on the floor. Secondly, specifying this speaker as a 'midrange' is a little bit of a stretch. But notwithstanding these shortcomings it is a good value for the money.

Just needed replacement drivers for some cabinets I had (they still didn’t quite fit but that’s not because of the speakers it’s because of the cabinet openings weren’t cut right) but these fit in without having to do any adjustment and they sound just like they should. good value

Ordered two of these, one was bent beyond repair and went strait to the garbage bin. The other was just as useless since it's extremely poor design doesn't allow for an airtight seal! WTF, really? I will never buy another goldwood product after seeing how poorly these are built.

Used in BIC EV-15 as a midrange replacement. Drops in. After a few hours of break in, sounds lovely. Seems slightly more sensitive than the OE, definitely smoother, brings out more vocal clarity. Great value. Love ‘em.
