Pool Filter 4 Pack Replacement for SwimClear C-3025 / C-3030; 81 SQ.FT. Cartridge Element

Have a Hayward SwimClear that I installed 2 years ago with the OEM filter cartridges. Kept my 28K pool clear and sparkling, and no issues until this summer when a higher-than-usual explosion of pollen kept the filter working overtime. Cleaned the original cartridges 3 times to to get the filter pressure down and keep the pump from screaming, but pressure kept creeping up and the variable speed pump was working twice as hard to keep the water flowing. Bought these after letting all the pollen filter out, and compared to what I thought were my old “clean” cartridges the pressure dropped immediately and the pump is running at a whisper. Going to keep the original cartridges and use during pollen season before switching to these next pool season. Worth the investment for my needs.

I used these as replacements for an OEM Hayward Swim Clear C-3030 filter. The original had a cracked plastic head that was letting water bypass the filter elements, the original filters were about 9 months old when the cracks appeared “bummer”. My pool water had a slight green tint that I could not get rid of after numerous months. I changed the filters out and within a few hours the green tint was gone and replaced with clear blue tint “yea”. The only thing concerned about is there were only 2 bands on the filters. Delivery was quick also.

After pricing the correct filters at a pool supply near me I found these on Amazon for less than half the price. If ordering it is best to measure the height of the filters you have and their circumference, per the Pool Guy. I had used the Model number located on the bottom of the filter tank C-3025 and had seen the 81 Sq. ft. located on the top of one of the filters. They fit perfectly and are working well. I have a Hayward Filter. I hope this helps any prospective buyer.

I was pretty excited about the price of these and they appeared identical to the more expensive name brands. Unfortunately all 4 blew them were totalled after 2 months in the filter. The bands were broken and the plastic on top cracked on all of them. Contrary to the all the 5 star reviews, I am giving it them one start, which they don't even deserve. I'm guessing the other reviewers were excited with their purchase upon receiving it and wrote reviews without waiting to see how these would hold up.

I noticed an improvement in the flow from my pool pump as soon as I installed them in the filter basket. They are a perfect fit and lightweight too. These filters do their job well and are easy to clean also. Good job guys!

Perfect fit. Good price. Replaced my 4 year old filters. Filters fit right into place. It would be cheaper to replace filters if you use a service to clean 2-3 times a year. I clean my own but it's a time-consuming job.

I put these filters in my pool this spring on April 25th and when I checked them 3 days later ro see why the pool was not getting clean I found the bottoms were cracked open and the filter was blown. It lost it's integrity in 3 days. These filters are crap.

I've had these filters in place for about 6 weeks and my pool water is clear and the pressure on the filter case has dropped into a normal range. Great item for the price!
