this is a very nice filtration kit especially for the price point, I have been doing several sprinkler box repairs, I have been using these brass ones to replace the standard schedule 80 PVC, and I prefer these because of the threads on them, this one has a 3/4 internal thread as well as union attachment for a couple easy options to install this and also to make this a more serviceable filtration kit. I love the drain valve assembly that they have installed on this as well as the hose attachment for the drain, I also love the union kit with the include with it, and that they have additional mesh filters that come with it. this is a very good value for the price point much better than most of the filters I can acquire locally.

I got the 1 inch ports. PVC adapters work perfectly. No leaks using Teflon tape. It's feeding three pop-up sprinklers that are rated 3 gallons per minute each with no problem. I recommend it.

I don’t have any way to measure how much if any grit passed through, but I can tell you that it trapped an amazing amount of coarse to extremely fine sediment from either “wild water” or city water. The filter casting and fittings are well made and sturdy. I was not able to measure pressure drop, but I suspect it is quite low with a relatively clean filter screen. The drain/backwash valve is very effective. There are a pair of male to male adapters changing the 1” mntp males to a 3/4” males that works with female 3/4” GHT. The unit, second screen, adapters, seals, teflon tape, nuts, soft hose extension for the flush valve, the stamped wrench, and helpful directions were very well packaged. At this price and performance, I have no reason to purchase any other brand’s similar filter product.

Initially bought this MewMore filter thinking it was pre-pump, but it's designed for post-pump use. No problem! I installed it before my washing machine, and it's doing a fantastic job. Our machine is running noticeably smoother, likely due to reduced sediment. Love that it's reusable too. Solid filtration solution.
