One of my favorite affordable sandalwood incense sticks in the world.No bamboo core, rather a solid piece that burns to a very fine ash and lasts 13minutes+ per stick.Very smooth scent and very consistent in quality and smell.My original box was purchased in Japan several years ago and this new box quality is identical.Please note:Incense enjoyment is highly individualized.This sandalwood Is much smoother and “purer” than most other sandalwood incense I’ve tried (most of the others are stronger AND mixed with a variety of aromatic botanicals depending on what country they are from).I have been enjoying incense from around the world for decades, every region and every country has its own “smell signature” and I enjoy almost all of them except those with very acrid or burnt twig scents…to each their own🙂

this is a replacement order since the first shipping caused all incense sticks broken. this time much better, both the box and the content were shipped intact.the smell is nice, though doesn't stand out too much comparing with agarwood incense.will buy product again from nippon kodo

Love this scent. Like to burn right before I have guests and everyone always remarks how good the house smells!

Not too strong, up till now I was unable to burn incense in my house cos my bf hates the smell, he is ok with this one.

My family is from Japan, and I was always told this is the BEST. Thus far, I have not found anything that compares.

Will buy this item over and over again due to its wonderful & relaxing scent. The scent lasts a long time and it provides a very warm and comfortable environment where it is used either in the living room, kitchen or bedroom. Highly recommended!!!!!
