It holds the books fine, it does what it is for. Hopefuly it will hold the heavier ones as well. Unfortunately, it does not keep my toddler from pushing the books to the back of the shelf 😄

Don't work
Got these because I wanted a nice stopper to keep my books in, as I finished placing my books on them the book ends flopped over causing me to get hit in the head by about 20+ books as they fell from the shelf. There not worth the money, there very cheep looking when you receive them, there not heavy at all, decent size but poor looking quality.
