I wasn't sure what I was expecting for the $20, but what I got was a great knife. It is hefty and sturdy. Blade is sharp, cutting through paper with no catches whatsoever. Caution, it does open and close hard, so be careful so you don't cut yourself. But what it means is the locking back is substantial to keep it open and closed. There is no push button release or quick release. Overall would recommend.

This is a fantastic camp kitchen knife. The way it folds down makes it much safer to pack up and transport and its great that it is still a full size knife when it folds out. It has a sharp and so far durable edge to it which I am happy about. The handle is comfortable and the blade lock is decent. However, if you swing this thing with a decent amount of force in the air and stop suddenly, the blade can overpower the lock and swing close on your fingers. So no fancy knife tricks while cooking with this one. That common sense safety consideration aside I would highly recommend this knife for anyone who needs a compact butcher style knife.

It looks just like the pictures and I couldn’t be happier. It’s a robust knife with a thick blade and handle. It has a very good weight in the hand. Quite frankly it’s exactly as it says, a folding cleaver. Here’s the deal: I got this because of how cool it looked and at the time, it was listed for $16.99. You really can’t go wrong at that price. It’s definitely a center of conversation when I pull it out because of how big it is. There is only one point worth mentioning that you need to consider before buying. The knife is not like “traditional” edc knives or folding knives in that it doesn’t have a locking mechanism. There are two steps when opening or closing. The blade will “lock” half way open/close, and at full open (see pics). However, there is no “mechanism/lock lever” to keep it “locked” open. This means the blade closes with pressure so watch yourself when using. Other than that, it’s an awesome addition to my collection. I hope this helps you!

A cleaver is quite a useful tool in the kitchen, but they aren't exactly that portable. I've never heard of a foldable cleaver, but here we are!This is not a full-sized cleaver, but it is handy in the kitchen - especially for processing things like poultry. The blade comes very sharp - so be careful. It folds and snaps into place - the handle is a rigid plastic. The hand-forged blade seems like it would hold up to much use.This cleaver comes with a carrying pouch to carry on a belt. This would be handy for camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities.

Heavy duty and well made. Arrived very sharp and included holster that can be attached to a belt. Much better quality than I was expecting at the price point.
