A beautiful piece to welcome your day!
Works really well. We haven’t visited Starbucks in a long time because this beautiful piece makes our morning complete! Nothing beats the design. Very well built, like any Italian masterpiece.

Happy with our Smeg Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine
The Smeg EGF03 Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine has transformed our home into café, and it looks stunning doing it. The 50’s retro styling is lovely and it seems quite well-built. The built-in grinder with multiple grind settings makes it easy to dial in beans and consistently pull rich, flavorful shots with thick crema. The dual thermoblock system heats quickly and lets me move from espresso to silky steamed milk with minimal waiting, so making lattes and cappuccinos is actually fun instead of a chore. Overall, it’s a beautiful, powerful machine that makes café-quality coffee at home and is absolutely worth the investment. The one downer - the box said it was built in China. We purchased this one specifically because we thought it was built in Europe. Otherwise, we're quite happy.

Make a perfect cup every time
The absolute best purchase! My morning cup of coffee is delicious. Im saving so much money rather than going to a coffee shop. I also love making hot cocoa with the steamed milk attachment. I also love the aesthetics of the machine on my counter. I can now say the form and function are equal.

Expensive Kitchen Decoration, Not an Espresso Machine
After spending a significant amount of money on the **Smeg EGF03 Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine with Built-In Grinder, Dual Thermoblock**, I can honestly say one thing: **DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.** Unless you're looking for an expensive decoration for your kitchen countertop, I strongly recommend buying something else. From day one, I tried everything to make a proper espresso and ristretto. I experimented with different coffee beans, grind settings, doses, distribution techniques, and tamping pressure, carefully following every recommended procedure. The result was always the same: poor extraction and coffee that never comes out truly hot.Thinking my unit might be defective, I took the machine to a technician who specializes in espresso machines. After inspecting it, his conclusion was that the issue wasn't calibration or user error—it was the machine's design. According to his diagnosis, the pump simply cannot generate enough pressure to force water properly through a correctly ground and properly tamped coffee puck, making it virtually impossible to produce a true ristretto. He also concluded that the Dual Thermoblock heating system lacks the capacity to bring the water to the proper brewing temperature, which explains why the espresso is consistently served warm instead of hot. What made this experience even worse is that I also purchased the extended warranty, believing it would protect my investment. That turned out to be another waste of money. I've spent weeks being bounced back and forth between Smeg and Amazon, with each company directing me to the other while neither takes responsibility or offers a real solution.I rarely write negative reviews. In fact, this is one of the very few I've ever posted. But I feel obligated to share my experience so other people don't spend hundreds of dollars on a machine that, in my experience and according to the assessment of a qualified espresso machine technician, simply cannot deliver the performance it promises.**Save your money and buy a different brand.** I made the mistake so hopefully you don't have to.

Gorgeous and easy to use!!!
Blurred out my reflection 🤣Yall…this machine is my baby. Yes, it’s an absolute bank-breaker, but it’s basically an investment cuz you’ll never buy coffee outside ever again. (I use Abott whole coffee beans for better-than-cafe tasting espresso and lattes). Aside from how gorgeous it is, it’s very heavy duty, and you can customize your grind size, grind time, and brew time for single and double espresso shots. It’s very beginner friendly and easy to figure out with some YouTube videos, and the coffee is too good.

Because if the expense it must be signed for and it’s heavy.
This was very expensive but it works great and looks beautiful!

A quality purchase, easy assembly, great expresso in no time flat!
What a lovely piece of equipment! Not only is it very aesthetically pleasing but it is very functional as well. The packaging that protected the machine was robust and the machine arrived in a pristine fashion. The machine itself is solid and feels like the quality is commensurate with the price. The assembly instructions were well thought out and the fit and finish enabled a very quick assembly task. The task of actually making a good expresso however takes some practice. Perhaps a knowledgeable barista would have no problem but for a first-time user like me, it took a couple of tries! Nonetheless, the learning was part of the fun.

Quality you can feel
Thought I'd try out a new brand after my old espresso maker died after 11 years. Was not disappointed! You can feel the quality. The auto grind amount needs to be adjusted when changing beans and can be a bit tricky to get into the setting but other than that this machine is a rockstar!

Good espresso machine with premium build quality
The portafilter came with a crack/scratch line but other than that, build quality is very solid and premium. Good espresso machine in general. Customer service did send a replacement afterwards for the portafilter.
