Very cute and don't take up much space
Very cute and doesn't take up much space. I thought they would be a little bigger, but I really like them.

Perfect for any interior
I bought these as I thought it would be nice to have next to this candle. This is an antique surface, so I limit what I put on it (thus the raised candle holder). I have an eclectic style and these match holders are stylish and fit well with any decor - the antique table and the modern candle holder. The other one is usually on our fireplace mantle, but the Xmas decor is still up, so no pic.As for function, they work great. I have yet to purchase pretty matches. These are standard grocery store kitchen matches. I been able to strike them on both the side rough surface as well as the sticker on the bottom.

Attractive, minimal, functional.
Fits the aesthetic I wanted and holds a good amount of matches. These are 4” matches for reference.

Cute, but not functional
This was one of my youngest's purchases. They're a little pyro that loves matches and matchboxes, they bought this because it looked cute and seemed functional.... oh that was not the case and the picture is a bit misleading. My kid assumed that the holders would come with matches like in the pictures, most fancy match holders that we've seen had always been sold with matches included. We chalked that up to us not reading the description more clearly. The next thing was simply, the striker. It's a sticker that you have to put on the bottom of the holder, and the unglazed side of the holder is honestly just there to look pretty so don't even try there. The little stick on striker also just doesn't work and my kid's lit their fair share of matches so this wasn't a user error. So overall, these are cute.. but disappointingly lacking in functionality, it really needs some bigger improvements to it, like make that unglazed section of the holder to act as a striker much like a matchbox would have.
