As advertised....like new book for a fraction of the cost

This is a very specific book that is actually very well written for a plain historical text. It is by no means a swashbuckling adventure novel, as the writing can get dense and a little slow. However, it is certainly much more enjoyable than most of the history books out there. A hidden gem relating a fairly unknown series of events!

Good read of the events happening in the Wyoming, Utah, Montana area in its early settlement. Also a great story of one man's determination for doing what was right and carrying out his word.

We read this book while on the Magruider Trail. Well-researcherd and written - brining the tragic story to life.

Really wanted the history behind the Magruidor Corridor before we went on it. Will make the trip so much more interesting!

A great book discussing the gold fields in Montana and the difficulties of getting supplies to and from. Great book to read before crossing the Magruder Corridor.
