We had to redo a post that was well used. Easy to do.

It is much cheaper to buy this rope and redo a cat scratcher yourself than to keep buying new scratchers. It is also better for the environment to not keep throwing away old scratchers. It does take some time to do it and the rope is a little rough on your hands, but it is worth it. It does take much more length than you would expect though so be careful to order enough so that you do not run out.

Purchased this to replace the rope on our cat tree & it actually worked great. My husband wrapped it around and stapled it on & it's been a few weeks and it still looms perfect! So much cheaper than buying a new cat tree!

Easy to use and fixed a sad cat treat. The nasty smell is why a took a star off. Stinks. Stuck to my hands, clothes. Nasty.

This item is nice. Hold up real well. Used hot glue worked great.

It definitely worked and seems like high quality rope, but spending several hours over a few days smelling this while wrapping the cat scratchings post gave me a headache. Now I can’t put the post near my couch anymore because I can’t stand the smell. I’m not sure how this route was treated/coated, but I sure hope it’s pet safe because it was a lot of work to re-wrap our cat scratching post and I don’t want to redo it with a different rope. The best way I can describe the smell is chemically plastic? Looks great though.

Used to repair cat scratching posts. Hard on hands...need to wear gloves. Came out like new.
