Gate Hinges Straight 300mm 12" Pair Black Heavy Duty Hook And Band Hinge

This is a very strong, well-made and finished gate hinge at a great price. Very well packed and prompt delivery.Though I found that what I actually needed was the cranked version of this hinge (which I have re-ordered, unfortunately, from another supplier) I have retained this set for a future project.Warrior103.

I need to hang a solid oak gate about 30kg. Two types of hinge were bought from Amazon, bother described as heavy duty. The long strap T type made of 2-3mm mild steel didn’t seem up to the job although I did like the 400mm strap. These hinges are much more capable. They are of 1/4” steel and the hook hinge is more than adequate for the weight of the gate. They are also industrially decorative which helps.

They are excellent quality. It’s just a pity they do not come with black screws and black bolts. I ended up buying black screws in store and getting M12 70mm black coach bolt/carriage bolt made to order by accu. This took time to arrive with extra expense. Looks great now though and holds the gate solidly.

Just grand. Good heavy hinge. I thought they might have had too much slop (play) on them but nope, gate sits perfectly with them when fitted.

Came rusted and bent with paint coming off so returned for refund

At the price there very good value seems well made heavy ironwork and ideal for shed doors and garden gates.Quick delivery well parcelled.

Strong hinges, but it would be good if you could select the amount of hinges you want, as for my gate 3 would have been better.

Look good. Haven't actually utoilise them as yet but they are well finished and robust. Would certainly recommend.
