Penny Board Cruiser by Land Surfer - 22 Inch Adults & Kids Skateboard for Street & Skatepark - Solid & LED Wheel Styles

This is our second Land Surfer skateboard, I got one for my 11year old son for Christmas, then after a few trips to the park with him and a couple of tries on his I had to get one for myself (70kg, age 52). The board is well made and resilient (we've crashed them plenty). The wide wheels roll over minor imperfections in the pavement, so good for cruising along in the street or local park, although maybe less good for tricks in a skate park. But that suits me fine right now as getting my balance was the challenge having not skateboarded before. If you're new to this then I recommend You Tube for the basics (this is a Penny type cruiser board - Penny being the original and famous makers) and get a spanner so you can alter the tracking (to make it run nice and straight) and the firmness of the cornering - all very easy with the big nut under each wheel truck. Also some protective gear - head, hands, elbows, is a good idea at first, as my grazes will attest! All in all I'm very happy with these boards, they're great fun and we've had kids and adults admiring them too. Happy days.

Have waited a couple of weeks to do this review and have to say my daughter is very pleased with it. It seems nice, sturdy and well made.Very smooth to use and easy to get the hang of. Great value for money

Been riding to and from uni on this for a couple of weeks now and I'm super impressed by it. I've never had a 22" board before so I can't compare to more expensive models but based on my experience with this one I'd agree with all the reviews that say you get more than you pay for with this board. Looks great, rides smoothly and quietly, is light enough to carry easily and yet feels very strong and robust. Makes the commute a lot more enjoyable!

I bought 3 of these boards for my two daughters aged 15 & 16 and one of their friends (also 16) all three of them love their boards and have spent loads of time on them. So far they are working brilliantly and seem to be very strong and look as though they will last a long time. They arrived withing 2 days of me ordering them and before they had been estimated to be delivered.I would defiantly purchase these again for my other child when she is old enough, and I would also defiantly recommend them to anyone. They are excellent and a good price, they were defiantly worth the money.

For this price I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it appears, (yet to be put to the test by my soon to be 5 year old). As a precaution I decided to grease the studs on the trucks and give the bearings a quick squirt of DW40. In doing this I found that one washer was missing, I contacted the seller and not only did I get a new washer sent but a whole spare wheel! Excellent service! The board looks great but I'm not sure how much grip it will offer. As it's got ridges on it, it won't be possible to attach grip tape to the top of the board. The trucks are cast and I'm hoping strong enough, only time will tell with this. The wheels are not super hard so should be good on slightly rougher ground. The bearings seem fine, not super smooth but I wouldn't expect that for the price - so all in all for the price I'm very happy.
