Amazing Support – So Comfortable, I Came Back for a Second!
This is actually the second time I’ve bought this bra — and I went through Amazon this time because it was cheaper and arrived quicker than ordering from the official site. Massive bonus! I first bought this Champion training bra about 6 years ago, and it’s served me so well. I used it regularly for running and workouts, and it held up brilliantly over time. I was honestly impressed by how long it lasted considering how much I wore it. The support is amazing — especially if, like me, you’ve got a bigger bust. I’ve struggled in the past with sports bras that look the part but just don’t offer the right support. This one does. It keeps everything in place, doesn’t feel tight or restrictive, and it’s really comfortable to wear for long periods. I love that it fastens in two places — both at the back and also at the bottom band — so it gives that extra secure feel. You can also adjust the straps and the back, which is great for getting the perfect fit. Tip for anyone unsure on sizing: Go to the Champion website and use their fit guide. You just put in your measurements and they suggest the best size. That’s what I did the first time and I just reordered the same one here on Amazon. Fit was spot on again. It’s hard to fault this bra. Great quality, high-impact support, comfortable, long-lasting, and well-priced — honestly, I’ll probably end up getting a third one before this one wears out!

Practical if a tad awkward
I must first say that I have a love/hate relationship with Shock Absorber bras generally. I hate them because I don't find their "compression fit" very comfortable. I have decent sized boobs & they just squash everything into your body which I don't like. However I have to admit they work in terms of stopping boobs bouncing around so to that extent I am growing to love them. I really didn't like this bra when it arrived. As well as the usual "squash factor" it's 2nd fastening is a plastic clip affair like you would find on a swim suit located so high between the shoulder blades its almost impossible to fasten. ( and you can't front fasten and swivel) However I decided to try it out and I must say it does work well. As always with shock absorber the fit on back size is small so think about going up a size on that- cup size is fine though, it's supposed to fit tight, that is how it works. Regarding comfort I am in 2 minds- it's tight, you will notice when you put it on & it won't feel comfortable. But once you are wearing it and while running you just won't notice it. In short it is comfortable to run in which is pretty much the point So I am growing to love this bra, slowly, very slowly. I had to force myself to give this bra 5*s which I did because it's well made and very fit for purpose but it doesn't make my "heart sing" if you know what I mean! Hope that helps ladies

VERY GOOD FOR HIGH IMPACT AND BIG BUSTS
the bra is superbly constructed. does not stretch. wide padded straps which are supportive and done dig in. chest area does not bounce even on very high impact. very stable and doesn't shift at all. one of the best running bras I've had. it has a hook just behind your neck/shoulders as well as the normal one mid back so this distribute the impact and weight of the bust when running, and adds support. I really recommend to any big bust ladies. The downside. since it is non stretchy, parts which are styled tightly or too small cannot fit right. I've been medium 34 back for all my life and this one I had to buy a back extender. I imagine they make the back strap very tight to support the bust without shifting during high impact but to me it was not comfortable at all. next, the shoulder straps. normally you would have a sort of buckle that you make shorter or longer by pulling. but instead this one has a series of hooks and the shoulder strap is hooked into the loop. with the right length. this means the shoulder straps don't slide to longer length as you run. then, in the back, as well as the normal doing up hooks around your back, there is another clasp between your shoulder blades to hoist the bousim from behind your neck. like a racer style. this is VERY supportive sounds great right? well the issue for me is that the clasp behind the neck, is sort of between the top of your shoulder blades. maybe a bit lower. and it's virtually impossible to reach to do it up. I have no idea how you do it. and if you leave it undone, then the shoulder straps will slide down or become unhooked, leaving your bousam flapping and flailing and half the bra falls down. in conclusion, top marks for supportive and non bounce and comfort for huge tiddiees. but low marks for overall construction - and extremely unsuitable for anyone with flexibility issues, shoulder joint issues, older folk, people with short arms, due to the difficult location of the rear upper clasp.

Best Sports Bra I have ever bought
Shock Absorber Womens Run Bra. I have had many sports bras over the years and have either found them uncomfortable or not very supportive. I had seen the good reviews for Shock Absorber and decided to purchase one. I am currently doing a lot of High Intensity workouts and being a 38DD need a lot of support. I purchased the 38D and found that it fitted perfectly, the band is on the tightest clip and the cups fit perfectly. I tried it out on my first high intensity workout and am fully converted to using shock absorber bras now ! I could not believe the difference, usually I would feel movement, bouncing up a down now I feel everything is fully held in, there is hardly any bounce, I love the fact that the bra comes high up and fully supports and covers the breasts. The bra has 2 fastenings on the band and it also crosses at the back to fasten between the shoulders this clip is fully adjustable to get comfortable, when putting the bra on and taking off you do not need to undo this clip. I found the bra really easy to put on and take off and will definately using Shock Absorber bras in the future. Brilliant Buy, well worth the money.

Love it! Will not be buying any other sports from now on as this is the one! My regular bra size is 10-12F or 32-34F but I bought 34D. It fits just right and didn’t not hurt my shoulder/neck area like other brands. It’s a hot day and yet I don’t feel suffocated because the fabric is just great. Perfect for high intensity workouts! Hoping it lasts longer than the other brands as well!

This is the best sports bra I have ever owned! It keeps everything in place...virtually no movement when walking, jogging or jumping. I was worried about the price, but it is worth it. I found that it is very true to size and you do not get the uni-boob look. To the people who have trouble putting it on: I slip it over my head, put my arms in and then fasten around the back.

this is the best sports bra for large breasts. I use it for running, walking, spinning and lifting weights. There is a La Isla bra, which looks like this one but seems to be a lower price knock off, and is also sold on Amazon . It is lower cut and runs larger in the band , so may be adequate for those who don't need the high cut to keep breasts from spilling out the top , or like a looser band fit (full size difference, I'd say) I wear a 34 DD in Glamorise, and order 34DD in The SA, but needed a 32DD in the La Isa version. The cup size is exact and the band also fits, but with a tighter fit than my usual daytime bras in the same size. I prefer that for sports, but some might find it too tight. Not sure about the UK vs US sizes. I think I usually order in the US size It IS a bit hard to get into. Many reviewers seem to comment on this. I do not have someone else hook me in, as some have reported! I keep the upper clasp closed, open the bottom hook clasp, put the bra on over my head, straighten the straps, (which sometimes twist going over the head) and then hook the bottom clasp and reach into the cups to pull breasts into place. A bit of a maneuver, but worth it. No jiggle, no uniboob, like some sports bras create...and adequate coverage. A few bras , like the Enell model I have are cut a bit higher, for better cleavage coverage, but this bra is much more comfortable, fits better under tank tops, feels like a bra and not a harness and does the trick. . Of note, the straps are closer to the neck and angled in, unlike most regular bras .It also looks good under a lot of other tops , which I might change into and put on over spandex leggings as I sometimes keep it on to do errands, etc, after i work out .. I have noticed that the bras do develop a mildewy odor in both the band and the straps. It seems to come out after washing, but returns quickly at next wear. Maybe just a sign to replace, although my current 2 still fit well and have maintained their support .I just ordered my 4th one in about 4 years, after thinking I would save money and order the La Isla knock off sold on Amazon for a fraction of the price. I sent it right back and ordered another SA.

I would order this again when mine wear out. It is the best. I have five of them now.
