In all of Robert Rodriguez's "SPY KIDS" movies you don't come to expect much, just flat-out entertainment for kids. You don't have to worry about content, they are safe.

This movie is timeless! My kids loved it! Definitely worth renting.

My boys loved this movie about kids becoming spies! Secret agent gadgets and fun! Very cool movie! Made me nostalgic!

This film was one of my absolute FAVORITE films when I was a kid, when this film came out (that somewhat begins to date me, lol! 😆), and to this day I STILL remember it. I believe it was also one of my first films that I had ever saw in a movie theater or even drive-in (back in the day), except perhaps the first Harry Potter film (in the same general time period).WOW, is it a blast from the past!! I watched it for the first time in literal YEARS on the amazon prime app and then on the website on my laptop (watched half there, then restarted it on my laptop). While watching it today, I came across an added scene that wasn't in it when I watched it in the theater OR on VHS as a kid, and I watched this sucker as many times as Little Mermaid- which is saying something!! WHY on earth did they add that shark scene prior to their entering Floop's castle? See, I only own it on VHS, which was my reasoning for buying it digitally, so perhaps it was recently cut and edited into a "director's cut," "extended edition" or something (🤷🏻‍♀️ I don't know)?. So it was a great surprise and a joy to see a bit of footage that was brand new to me.

Spy Kids is the best kids' movie for adventure and gaming! The kids love this one. I highly recommend this movie!

Will forever be one of my favorite childhood movies. Love to rewatch it now with my kids.

Rent not a buy

This is a 2001 science fantasy family adventure in which Carmen (Alexa Vega) and Juni (Daryl Sabara) are just normal kids until they discover their parents Ingrid and Gregorio Cortez (Carla Gugino and Antonio Banderas) are super-spies, after their parents are kidnapped by an evil baddie bent on world domination. And it’s up to the kids to save the day.Filled with funny crazy ’monsters’ such as the ‘Fooglies’ who speak gibberish and the dumb ‘Thumb-Thumb’ henchmen, and gadgets galore, this is almost live action comic book fun for all the family. It’s Willy Wonka merging with James Bond, and it’s guaranteed to enthral the youngsters with its bright and bold colours while the plot and cast are engaging enough for older viewers. With no swearing or nudity, this is an obvious recommendation and a ***** family movie without doubt.

Pour les enfants qui aiment l'aventure, mais pas les trops grands... Ma fille de 7 ans et a adoré. Attention après, il y a le 2 et le 3 (passage obligé quand on a vu le 1!).

Me han gustado los niños espías, el tío machete, los manopulgares y el tipo Floop. Lo que no ha sido el tipo pelota que hace de las suyas y el presidente.

Spy Kids starts with a bedtime story. Unknown to them, the story is about their parents who are spies.The parents who were on non field work get called in to work a case, but they are also taken and the family is threatened. The search for a brain, is the key to the story. The Kids find out that their family was not what it appeared and fight to keep the brain out of the hands of the enemy and to rescue their parents. Not everything goes to plan and it makes for a fun action movie.
