Huge Difference
I am so glad I found this. I have attached it to my shower and I love that it is so easy to take care of hardwater. I can do this myself without any help. Just twist turn and replace. That easy! Nice bonus keep the shower cleaner too.

It works!
Heavy sediment at my house, this filter keeps the impurities out of the water very well.

Filter does an excellent job! I can tell the difference when it's time to change.

Showerhead is fine, instructions are garbage!
The instructions are one page front and back in multiple languages, with illustrations. There are illustrations for steps 5-8, but no written instructions. What it doesn't tell to is to REMOVE THE LITTLE GRAY CAP from the filter before installing it. If you don't, water isn't coming out. There's also a sticker on the filter but it tells you to remove it. Thankfully I found a video on YouTube that showed this or I would have been lost. Aside from that, installation is simple. You will need thread seal/plumbers tape, there is none provided. I didn't need tools to install, hand tightening worked fine. The spray has good pressure, and there are 3 modes that are very easy to change by pushing the lever. I wish all of the regular nozzles would be on in one of the modes but there's a regular mode with all the outer nozzles on. The higher pressure mode uses the more inner nozzles. The mist mode uses the center nozzle.

Reliable
ππΉ;π±πΏ: Easy install, no flow rate impact, noticeable water softening.βββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββππΊπ½πΏπ²πππΆπΌπ»π:πΏ Straightforward installation. No plumberβs tape is necessary, but a crescent wrench or right-size spanner would probably be best to get that last bit of torque.πΏ No discernable loss of water pressure. Iβve seen a few people mention as much, but Iβve put two on my upstairs and downstairs bathrooms, and both have the same flow rate, as far as I can tell.πΏ It does seem like it βsoftensβ the water. I moved from a home with a dedicated water softener to one without and could immediately tell the difference. This feels like it gets me about 80% as close as having a dedicated water softener.Overall, pretty great. Itβs definitely more comfortable to shower with. Maybe Iβll sing a different tune when it comes time to buy new filters, but my initial couple of months have been solid.

No water flow
Installed it and water flow and water pressure was reduced to nearly zero. Less than half the showerhead had water flow to shower after installation and it was practically just dripping instead of flowing out.

Great sleek-looking product, but unclear instructions
Was super excited to get a new Kohler shower head especially one that filters the water and offers different modes of spray. There weren't any written instructions for the last three steps, but I was able to find information online - and this is the important part - to remove the gray cap from the filter before installing or the water won't come out. I also found out from YouTubing the last steps that you need plumber's tape to seal around the couplings. Learned a lot from this one! Although it is larger than I expected, it is still sleek looking. It is easy to change from one mode to another. I will probably just stick with the full coverage mode but it's nice that my family or visitors can choose the one they like. The package comes with 1 Shower head, 1 Filtration System, and 1 Filter Cartridge. You're supposed to change the filter every 6 months, so I guess in 6 months I'll find out how changing it goes sometime down the road. For now, very good product that I'm happy to have in my shower.

Much better, not perfect.
We have "very hard" water, and we recently remodeled our bathroom with a glass door. This, would have been my last choice given the hardness of our water, and the knowledge that 100% I would be the only person in the house to clean it.I wasn't wrong. My usual cleaning is some combination of alcohol and vinegar with scrub daddies or magic erasers and a lot of scrubbing, twice a week, with one of those scrubs being much more intensive, using a daily shower spray in between. With this filtration system it's much better. It's certainly not perfect, doesn't prevent all the scale, but definitely keeps it down to more manageable levels where I'm not concerned about all the plumbing in the shower. I'd say it's cut the scrubbing down to a third of the effort of what it once was.Installation was pretty easy though we had to use teflon tape to stop leak issues and improve the flow. I would say that it has slightly reduced the water pressure, but not so much to a degree I wouldn't use it. Also with this, notably, my hair has more volume, less buildup, I can clarify less, my skin doesn't feel as itchy as it normally would at this time of year. Overall I think this one is a winner. If I had to use a 1.8 gpm showerhead I think the decrease in pressure would be a problem, but we have a 2.5 head and the reduction of scale feels worth it, as that would decrease the pressure a lot more much more rapidly.
