Foam, Foam, Foam
I selected this higher price model hoping for higher quality. It isn't what you get. You have to be very careful when unpacking this from the box. It is wadded up in there pretty good. There are 2 zippers that need to be closed to inflate this. There is one on the bottom, and a long vertical one in the back. This long zipper in the back requires your immediate attention when unpacking it. Carefully, locate this zipper, and make sure it is zipped up 100%. This is where you access the inside of the globe. If they shipped this thing with that zipper open, you will dump all the snow foam out of the inside, although likely, you will already find it laying everywhere to start with. Get it zipped up before doing anything. Be aware, when it is plugged in and running, the motor is rather loud. It is far louder than any of the 8 other inflatables I already have in my display. The snow is small 2MM round foam pellets. At first start up, the foam gets a static charge and clings to the inside of the globe, keeping it from falling down to recycle in the bottom. You'll have to pump the globe up, and unzip the back enough to get in there and wipe the clear plastic with a dryer sheet. Do it carefully, but quickly as it deflates with the zipper open and any foam will be flying. Be prepared to have foam in your hair and everywhere else. You can try to de-static wipe with the power off, but you won't be able to get to everything and you won't be able to see what you're doing, or see any problem areas with the static. If you are lucky, you'll have enough snow left in the system for it to actually continuously recycle and have a continuous snowing effect..... like it is supposed to. I had to buy 3 packs of additional snow foam, at an additional cost of $42 to get it filled back up enough to work properly. Without enough foam, it would snow for 10 seconds, then run out of snow. It has to have sufficient snow in the system, or you will not have a continuous snowing effect. The vertical nylon tube in the center for pumping the snow back to the top was sewn on crooked, and caused the snow to spray more to one side giving the globe an unrealistic scene....by snowing on 1/2 the globe. I had to take a needle and thread and modify it to even out the distribution. After the first light rain, moisture somehow got into the inside and caused the foam snow to clump, and it would not pump snow. You'll have to buy dessiccant absorption bags to put into the foam collection bowl in the bottom to fight this problem. You'll have to put a sheet of custom plastic down on the ground to set this thing on, or you'll pull ground moisture. I'd also recommend getting a spray sealer used on tents and spray the fabric to help keep moisture out. You'll have to tape or seal the large rear zipper on the globe also, because I'm suspecting this is how some of the water got in. The blower motor quit after 2 days. I brought it into the garage, dried the foam out, and took the motor apart. There was a wire broken loose from its connection. I re-soldered the wire it and put it back together. It's running now.....for now. For the price of this thing, they really screwed up on this one. If you aren't handy and don't have some decent knowledge of how this system works, you're going to be very unhappy. I'm an engineer, and I'm quite p*ssed off at the lack of attention to detail.

Absolutely gorgeous
We loved the video we watched on this product. When we got this inflatable, we took it out of the box and another of the micro beads (styrofoam) fell out. The zipper wasn't closed all the way. When inflated then snow wasn't working well.we were disappointed, but we went to Hobby Lobby and bought two packs of the micro beads. We added to the unit and it works fantastic. Just a little boo boo someone did or didn't do. It worked great till it rain. As it was raising up, we heard a pop ans notice one of the hold down straps broke out at the right bottom, looking at it. Also, when it deflated last night, the fan was pointing to the up position and it rained inside the unit. This wet the beads so they wouldn't work. We unzipped it to get water out and of course the beads came out with the water. A piss poor design. We're probably send it back for another. Not sure yet. The strap shouldn't have broke. The other inflatable didn't. I'm not recommending not buying one bc it's so dam cute when working. Her and I will decide. we decided to return it for a refund. WE returned it on 1/16/2024 at our local Staples. We are still waiting for our refund.

Would not buy again
This is a zero stars product. The first time we received it, the fan did not work, it tried to start up but died almost immediately. We returned it and ordered a replacement. We received a snowglobe that was torn and when I tried to put it back into the box to return this one as well. all the styrofoam snow landed on my living room floor. I don't recommend this product. Very disappointing!!! And actually unacceptable for the price being charged.

Loved it, but not enough snow
UPDATE: DIED AFTER RUNNING ABOUT 4 days!!!!! Very disappointed!!!!Everything I wanted in a blowup that actually blew snow. Only exception is that there was not enough snow material in the globe. If I shook it down it would blow but after a minute it didn’t. So I hopped on Amazon and purchased some bags of styrofoam micro balls to add into it. We shall see if that fixes the problem.

Good quality
Looks nice, but needs more snow. Would like to know where to get more to put in it so it will snow all the time. Also the stakes need to be longer to hold it down. Other wise it’s pretty cute.

Doesn’t work properly
The globe inflates fine, but the stakes holding it down often come loose. The tube to dispense the foam to make look like it’s snowing, falls over and becomes kinked. Would not recommend

Really cute but not durable
This was really cute but had several issues:First, the items is not 6 feet tall as it states it’s about 5 feet tall; still plenty big don’t know why they felt the need to not list this accurately.Second, the “snow” pellets don’t really fall down well, only one now and then. All of these things I’d be willing to overlook because of the overall nostalgia of this, but the nail in the coffin is that none of the tiedowns are reinforced. This was only up one night and the tiedowns tore through the fabric, allowing air to escape and the snowmen to deflate.I followed the instructions on how to set it up; the air inflation itself ripped them out over the course of the night. I suppose if you had this inside where you didn’t need to tie it down, it would be fine.Too bad…had to return it as obviously it was not going to last.
