This is the first and only case I've purchased for my PlayStation Portal but it works incredibly well. The fit is perfect, keeps the console secure and it is balanced well. I don't ever feel like my console is unprotected. The fit is exact so any additional accessories you have attached will not fit in this case very well but I rock mine naked with just a screen protector so it works great for me. I like the design and the colors match the Portal. The only thing I can say as a word of caution, this does have a factory chemical smell right out of the box. It isn't unbearable but I suggest you air it out for a bit before using it, for those that may be sensitive to strong smells. I actually kind of like it to be honest, as it's like a new car smell.

This is a very nice, form-fitting case for the PS Portal. At $30+ it's a bit pricey (given the cost of the device it is protecting) but it looks like it will protect my Portal nicely, so it's worth it.The case fits the Portal snugly, the hard shell is quite protective, and there is a small webbed pouch thoughtfully positioned under the bottom of the Portal where I can store the charging cable. The latter is a bit tight but it works. Unlike other cases, the cable pouch is positioned below the Portal not abutting on the screen, which is why I chose this case.When I first got it, the case had a nasty chemical smell but airing it out in the mudroom window for a few hours was sufficient to get rid of the odor.

Overall this is a great case. Obviously, as with any case like this, it's not exactly crush-proof by any means (I definitely wouldn't put any serious amount of weight on it, and it certainly isn't going to do anything to stop it from being crushed with anything over probably 5 lbs.) but it definitely will help protect the PlayStation portal. The interior is very well formed to snugly fit the PS Portal, and it is crazy soft, so it definitely won't scratch or damage the portal in any way. I did return it, but it was of no fault of the companies or the design of the case, it was simply because they have started to release more cases that offer more storage capacity, which is about the only negative thing that I would say about this case. You can fit the PS Portal in it, a charge cord, and that's basically it. There's no room for a plug/adapter block, headphones, etc. Other than that though, this really is a pretty great case.

Great, sleek case that holds portal well and keeps it protected. Comes with these awesome joy stick protectors that keep the joy sticks safe during storage. Don’t listen to the reviews crying about the smell. Yes the first day it did have a distinct material scent which then was completely gone by the next day. Great case. Money well spent.

The media could not be loaded. Order this case, and it came just as described, very slim and actually fits the PlayStation Portal very well and you can carry the charging cable perfectly! Nice slim design and protects the PlayStation portal just fine, if you want a nice travel carrying case get this one the quality it’s excellent and works just fine and you can pack it into a backpack or suitcase knowing your PlayStation portal will be safe.

not a hard shell more semi firm but very very VERY SQUISHY great as a carry case but if you drop it even once your ps portal is a gonner
