The activated charcoal filter can last from 1-3 months, depending on usage. For best results, replace every month, or as needed (whenever you start to notice odors coming from the composter).

How much food waste can I put in?

While there's no minimum requirement, you should not exceed the max fill line indicator on the compost bin. Smaller waste amounts result in faster cycles. Overfilling may lead to inconsistent, incomplete results, and potential damage to Lyko
