Excellent toy for kids! Fun, fun, fun!
Where to start with these remote-controlled cars? I guess I'll start by saying they're a complete and total blast! My two-year-old nephew went absolutely crazy when we played with these, squealing and laughing like a loon. (Full disclosure: I did, too. They're an absolute hoot to play with!)The cars and figures are adorable and they're also really zippy. They speed around on both hardwood and carpeted floors with no problems. They're very easy to control, with only a forward and reverse button on the remote. In forward mode, the cars go completely straight. The reverse mode takes the cars at an angled curve, so if you run into the wall you just back up on a curve, and go straight back to racing. That's all the steering required. Very, very easy for a two-year-old to get the hang of it after a few minutes. (The cars didn't leave any scuff marks on my wall when we banged into them, either, so that's a total win.)The cars and figures are built very well. They're going to hold up to just about any abuse your little one can give them. I love that the batteries are enclosed in a small compartment on both the cars and the remotes and secured by a small screw on each unit. The remote controls take two AAA batteries and the cars take three AA batteries. The screw-on battery compartments are safe for kids, and I feel good knowing that the batteries aren't going to come out and possibly get swallowed or lost.Bonus points to the manufacturer for providing not only the batteries required (so your kid can play with these straight out of the box... no tears because you forgot to buy batteries and they have to wait until you go to the store later) and also a small screwdriver to use to open the battery compartments! Any small screwdriver will work (I checked... all small Phillips head screwdrivers are compatible, so if you lose the one provided, you're still fine) but the fact that the manufacturer was thoughtful enough to provide one in case you don't have one on-hand was another bonus feature.Another bonus feature is the music that plays from the cars. The music is cute, but as any parent or guardian knows, that music can get a little grating after you've heard it for a long time. Not a problem with these cars! You just press the music button on the remote and the music turns off. Definitely an excellent idea because it will allow you to spend all the time you and the child in your life want playing without all of the noise. To sum it up, these little remote-controlled cars are fantastic. They're great for your little ones and they would also be a great gift for any little ones on your list. I can tell my nephew and I are going to have a lot of fun with these, racing and zipping around the house like crazy!

What's Not to Love?
The media could not be loaded. What kid doesn’t love to play with RC cars? My kid certainly loved her set of unicorn cars. As a parent, I appreciate that this product came with two cars. At under $30, that’s a steal. Because the set came with two cars, my daughter could run her car and race with another person, which makes this activity much more social than had there only been one car included. These are durable hunks of plastic on wheels. The cars can crash and bump into almost anything, and I have yet to see a dent. The unicorns and wings on the cars are detachable and must be attached when you open the product. Every once in a while, one of the wings falls off during racing time, but the wings are always easy to pop back on. Also, losing a wing doesn’t hinder the functionality of the car in any way. However, I wish the wings didn’t pop off so much. It is the one downside of this particular car design.Another negative (depending on who is driving) of these cars is how the controller is set up. The controllers don’t have an all-directional pad like one would assume. The directions available are forward and rear (see photo). This is stated on the Product Page, but most buyers may overlook this detail, so I wanted to note it in my review. At first, I was disappointed when I discovered this; however, after playing with the cars, it isn’t difficult to familiarize yourself with the two-directional pad. This little detail also didn’t seem to bother my daughter’s enjoyment either. When you want to change direction, the car needs to do a little donut before switching to the new direction. Once you have played around with that, switching directions becomes second nature. The headlights on the cars light up while the car is in motion, which is a fun little touch. Music will also play. The music is obnoxious and loud. Thankfully, there is a button on the controller that turns this feature off.Attached to this review is a video featuring the car in mobile action. Halfway through the video, I turn the car's music on.For the price, this is a great gift for any kid who loves cars or electronic toys that move. The negatives are very minor and outweighed by the sheer enjoyment your child will have racing these colorful cars with their friends and family. I highly recommend.

Made to be a lot of fun!
The kids are loving these RC cars. We have been trying several different models out over the last few months and these are probably one of the most basic, but yet, most fun, sets that they have gotten. The cars are compact and lightweight. They can be easily stowed away in a backpack or bag to play with friends. The plastic material seems to be very durable, even hough, it is lightweight. The controllers work the cars very well and they are very responsive. They can race at a decent speed and they have handled most terrains that we have tried them on. They have, of course, done best on smooth flat surfaces. The kids love playing with them and they had no issues using the controllers. I think that these would make great gifts for a beginner or younger kids (even though, fun can be had by all!)

Works well
This toy is a lot of fun. The kids will enjoy playing with the cars using the remote control and racing with their friends. A little game time is always fun. They go fast enough but not too fast to be destructive. I like these a lot!

So cute and fun for the kids
Remote control toys are just the best in my kids’ eyes!! They are having so much fun with these. Even the youngest at 3 has no problem guiding these around the house and just loves the unicorn theme. What I loved is that it included the insane amount of batteries needed to run. I am curious as to how long the batteries will last - at the rate these are being used it probably won’t be long. I did turn the music off though - nice to have the on/off feature.
