Will these melt in dryer?

They are hard plastic. Should be fine. I used mine on sleeping bag stuff sacks. Washed and dried no problem.

I'm having difficulty hooking these cord locks to my pants waist drawstring and getting them to hold. I need instructions

If one lock doesn't hold, try 2 or even 3 locks. I'm huge and must use 3 locks on my sweat shorts 'cuz each time I sit down they loosen up a bit, so each time I stand up, I must retighten them. There must be a better way, but this is all I got at the moment.
