I was a bit concerned, but then I realized that the vinyl was actually on the outside of the box, not the toaster itself, so it wouldn’t interfere with the design at all. It was a great little surprise and definitely reassured me that the craftsmanship was top-notch. As for performance, the toast comes out absolutely perfect, every single time. My kids love it too—thanks to the simple number settings, they’re never confused or frustrated by complicated dials. And yes, the toaster isn’t the only piece in this collection that’s captured my heart. I couldn’t resist buying the matching kettle, and I’m so glad I did! I love the design on this toaster. I also bought the matching electric kettle. I use this toaster daily and a year later it is working well. This is a 2-slice toaster, and if adjusted properly it toasts evenly on both sides. The slots are wide enough to toast bagels, or even hotdog and hamburger buns. Once I made toasted cheese sandwiches in it and that also worked well. I only experimented with the toasted cheese, and decided not to do it again for fear the cheese would run down inside and be difficult to remove. I have had many compliments on how the toaster and kettle brighten up my kitchen. I recommend this purchase.

Update: After reaching out to the company, they quickly replaced the toaster with a new toaster even though it was past the 30 day return period. I loved the look of the toaster however it started shorting out after only using it a few times. It trips the GFIC outlet and when I plugged it into a non GFCI outlet it popped and sparked a little.

Toasted evenly. Works well. I like the additional buttons on the front. I really just wanted a simple toaster. The only small issue is the dial seems a little flimsy. It works fine it just feels like it may break soon. There is no resistance at when turning it and it feels loose. It's not loose, just takes an extremely light touch to turn. We will have to wait and see on that. Had it maybe a week-ish. Very pretty color and doesn't look cheap. Picking it up; it has some weight to it for a toaster, so I suspect a good manufactured product. Cleaning tray pulls out easily, of course it's barely been used so far. Gotta wait on that one for a bit too. As stands I'd give an 8 outta 10. If the dial felt like the same quality the rest did we'd be at a 10. Very nice paint job on it. I'd say it's a great buy for the money.

This is a very attractive toaster. It does more than just today's. It reheats and that's. The toasts openings are wide. I have used them to reheat waffles.

Seems to work well so far- and the most beautiful appliance! I only wish it came in more colors. I was afraid it would be too 70's harvest gold, even though I do love vintage things I wasn't sure if that would work in my kitchen. It actually does. It matches some hanging glass butterflies I have in the window. I bought the mini tea kettle to match, and my mom ended up buying this as well when she saw it because she found it so cute. For the aesthetically minded, whimsical consumer. Both modern and retro somehow.
